jwbot; i've asked you two questions on this page and you haven't answered either. but you do reply with other statements. am i to assume you won't or can't answer me.
as for 'the truth' , it speaks for itself. out-right lies in your eyes doesn't necessarily make it so. facts will back up the truth and what i mostly see here is a lot of opinions. likely these opinions are based on what is perceived as fact but that doesn't make it so.

Actually this one does apply. JWs are encouraged to go into court and swear on a NWT to tell the truth but they are also taught that Theocratic Warfare will allow them to lie to those who they deem not worth knowing the truth.
Most people would consider lying in a court of law after giving an oath to tell the truth as unethical

First I resent the statement that I am a sniffer. That was uncalled for and certainly not "Christian".
Secondly I post a lot of information to prove my statement which you called "most outrageous". According to the WTS own words it wasn't so "outrageous"

What exactly was your point about my statement being outrageous? I show you proof and you ignore it. Who refuses to see "truth" here?
BTW My ex did not cheat on me. He abused me - mentally, emotionally, and sexually. He also abused our two girls - kicked them, punched them, slapped them in the face, yelled and screamed and cursed them) Good JW elder that he was. And the elders swept it all under the carpet. (Although if he had cheated on me maybe the elders would have said it was ok to leave him. OTOH they probably would have swept that under the carpet too)

You claim she has no personal responsibility...why? That is a judgement that I do not understand how you got to from her comments. What "consequences" do you speak of? The shunning? Because that is truly only the religious/cultural consequences. Marriage is a tool of property made by religion and the state...it does not mean the relationship is good, or will last, or has any more validity than a commited couple who did not get that nifty paper called a marriage license...too bad you judge her based solely on that... That is what I was speaking of.

it was jwbot who asked me why i made reference to your husband cheating on you. in my post (in case anyone cares to look) i was talking to laylaluv (sp). about HER husband NOT yours. i regret you've suffered by being reminded of a bad situation with your husband.

jwbot: i don't think we're on the same wavelength here at all. my point to layaluv is that she does have to take responsiblity. the consequences of sex outside of marriage for her is a pregnancy. the other consequence is displeasing Jehovah and getting DF'ed.
