lol @ gary. that'd be funny. WE'VE MADE IT THROUGH ARMAGEDDON!!! 1799 + 120 = 1819 (i'm dumb at math, so iono) but thats about what they're doing right here, i dig it.

There you go, gary, you have solved the puzzle. Paradise has started already, and nobody noticed. As the WT reminds us every week, members of the WTBTS already enjoy a "spiritual paradise" going to five meetings a week. Why would they want anything more?

...Now the WTBTS has another thousand years of wiggle room.

It just sounds to me like some people are visiting the web and starting these rumors .People have always been trying to predict the end of the world even nostredamus . I think the WTBTS can place a date further in the future because it is evident that they have not reached the 4 corners of the earth with their message . There are still plenty of moslem nations and communist nations that have not been thoroughly preached to. Just because they have a web site does not mean all people have a chance to hear about the messianic kingdom . By their own reasoning it would make sense to say they need more time .

TD, You know the start of the time of the end was 1799. That's like . . . . . Two hundred and five years ago. So the generation concept has been stretched to a very good length.
Isn't it kind of easy to be rather creative when you are dealing with fantasy? Or am I missing something? GaryB

LOL... I see your point.

But even fantasy writers must be true to their medium. Any good fantasy story has rules and conventions that once established, can't be violated without the audience crying "foul!"

Dog gone it, I forgot that the "Do More by '34" study was yesterday!

I had my T-shirt printed up, my noise makers out, and my "Do More by '34" hand-flag just sitting here in the corner.

I guess I can use them at the symposium that gives this mention again at this years DC.

But those won't come out without being 'countered' with prudent words from the WTS in the "QFR's" about how we shouldn't speculate.

And after the WTS hedges their bets by speaking out of both sides of their mouths in the "QFR's" , the WTS will then continue to plant seeds here and there for the "Do More by '34" campaign.
