1) Remember beast with deathstroke only had ruling authority 42 months. Beast from the earth would take its place: "He exercised all the ruling authority of the first beast on his behalf" (Rev. 13:12). "The second beast was empowered to give life to the image of the first beast" (Rev. 13:15 NET). First beast is no more. Beast from the earth brought to life a new beast.

No that is not the case. The beast the gets the death-stroke is from the sea. It gets the stroke at the point of it being the 7th king (present time). When it gets healed is when it is given the 42 months becoming the 8th king.

The beast from the earth never replaces the beast from sea, it works alongside of the beast of sea as a false prophet misleading people to follow it/worship it/takes its mark. The beast from the earth does not bring about a new beast, he brings about an image and mark of the beast from the sea. Remember the beast from the earth gets healed, not replaced.

The beast from the sea (8th king) and beast from the earth (false prophet) both get thrown into the fiery lake together when Jesus comes. That is when the beast from the sea is no more as well as the one from the earth. Rev 13:3,5,11-16;19:20

3) I'd say we are now at Rev. 6:8. Next is Rev. 6:12 (sixth seal).

The 6th seal comes after the GT/42 months. (Rev 6:12)

2) One hour is not equal to 42 months (3 1/2 years). (11:13; 17:12; 18:10, 17, 19; cf. 8:1).

The MOTB is given out during the 42 months the beast/8th king is in power. Taking the MOTB or refusing it is Jehovah's 'hour of judgment' upon mankind. Rev 14:7

Well, because the number of partakers went down in 1995. The increase since then is not real. More have not been anointed. Those are just people who want to believe they have been anointed.

I'd say that there is just a handfull of anointed left on earth.

Rattigan350, for a Jehovah's Witness apologist you are woefully ignorant of your religion and its history. Memorial partakers went UP in 1995 compared to 1994 not down as you profess in your posting. The Watchtower Online Library would be a good resource for you to use before posting any more nonsense. Reread my quote from the 1961 Watchtower that I posted. Your opinion post goes directly against Jackson's talk.

I said this already elsewhere:

When using the word anointed from JW world, they are referring to those chosen to rule with Jesus.

The time of the 8th king and taking the MOTB has not come yet, therefore no one has been forced to take it or refuse it.

No one from the WTS from its start in 1879 to the present that have died already could have been chosen to rule with Jesus according to what is said about those chosen to rule with him, at least where it refers to the MOTB.

[4 And I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given authority to judge. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed for the witness they gave about Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had not worshipped the wild beast or its image and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. Partaking means nothing in regard to being chosen to rule with Jesus. If one was not killed for their faith in God and in Jesus or living during the time of the 8th king and was then killed while faithfully refusing him, they are not of the anointed to be chosen to rule with Jesus.

What should be abundantly clear with these word salads like about the 144,000 partakers getting smaller & smaller is this. Jackson kept throwing it out there something about sudden changes or something.

If I can recall correctly it was months later after last years annual meeting took place that the beard policy was lifted,, women wearing pants,,not counting time on ministry slips.

So,,,you never know. Things,,changes could come during the governing body updates throughout the year. You never know.

Here is a link to a discussion with the number of the anointed numbers up to 2023 (no stats for 2024 yet) Yes, the WTS has never really give an explanation of why the increase, but the author of this piece uses statements by the WTS and then explains why this is a problem. Site is run by an ex-jw Bethelite and this site has been up for around 20 years, constantly being up with new information from the WTS. Many other topics that might quickly answer some of your questions.

It appears that the crux of the doctrinal change the Jackson was making is the signal of the start of the Great Tribulation.

Prior to this meeting their teaching was detailed in the July 2013 Watchtower which says

“In the larger fulfillment, the “standing” will occur when the United Nations (the modern-day “disgusting thing”) attacks Christendom (which is holy in the eyes of nominal Christians) and the rest of Babylon the Great. The same attack is described at Revelation 17:16-18. That event will be the beginning of the great tribulation.”

Jackson now says the start of the GT is when Nations suddenly hand over their political power to the United Nations. From the OP transcription, Jackson said

” But don't expect you will see Governments wanting to gradually give over power. They don't want to do that. It takes an act of God. Jehovah will put it into their hearts. This will occur with suddenness. Yes, then the GT will start.”

Their idea is that the attack on false religion will follow.

It may be that the reason for this very minor adjustment now enables them to call the start of the Great Tribulation any time they like since -

Nations have and are signing over certain powers to the UN already. For instance, agreements made and being negotiated with WHO.

The chances of the UN destroying all religions except the JWs doesn’t appear likely or provable any time soon.

He was toying & dicking around with that 144,000 number going down,,now number going up & up with that word salad..

They hinted at ""sudden changes". Who knows,,, maybe ""nu lite " throughout the year. During governing body updates or whatever.
