I think that besides being nice they have to have other things that attract you........... age, education, ability to converse, gets along well in social surroundings, financially stable, honest ...........and attractive to you. I think that a guy that is not attractive to you.......ie chemistry, well then, nice just won't cut the mustard.

This is probably one of the worst things anyone can do. It shows insecurity, and even a tenancy to control. Whenever this happens to me, I just think, "she'll make her choice".
a guy who ALWAYs agrees with me and never tells me no or who will always give in if I push a little bit is a WIMP and WIERD. A guy who is romantic and does nice things for me to show his love isnt necessarily a wimp if he also has no problem voicing his opinion even when I disagree and isnt afraid to say no if he feels he should.

These things don't seem to do much but make the package better. If a guy can get a woman to feel attracted to him, all this stuff doesn't matter.
The whole nice guy thing seems to boil down to one thing - does the guy respect himself? If he does, he's going to make it a hell of a lot farther than a guy who will put himself in debt trying to please a woman.
Just as a side note, I was at 7-11 the other day getting gas & cigarettes. I went over to the magazine rack and just for a laugh, picked up a Maxim magazine. They've found the key to attracting women! If a guy can get in shape and have a killer body, he'll attract women. According to the magazine, looks are the first thing women look for.
Bullshit.
I've proven this wrong myself. I'm hardly in shape, I've got a bit of a belly, and I've been able to attract women to the point where I've been able to get just about any woman I want. It sure as hell wasn't my looks, it was my personality and the way I portray myself. Looks are just a bonus. However, men are a different story.

Let me tell ya, nice guys do finish last. I used to be a nice guy. (Not in an obsessive way either) I would always be the one who had PLENTY of lady friends, but went too long without any girlfriends. That changed once I started to develope a bit of cockieness. A little attitude if you will. Not in a bold arrogant way, just enough to let the woman know I don't take any crap from anyone.
