We live just over a small hill from the largest land locked gasoline refinery in the United States, and our gasoline just went to $1.85 per gallon. The only way to combat this sort of thing is to cut back on your driving and stop using so much gasoline. This coming from a man who is about to drive 350 miles to Dallas for an apostafest. Car pooling, riding the bus or even walking beats paying these kinds of prices. Bug

The strong Pound (Sterling) means that the difference in gas prices, between here and the States. is a little over 1:3, as compared to the usual 1:4. That makes a change, especially given that most of our oil comes from just off the coast of Scotland
I'm glad I just filled up, if gas prices are generally set to rise. I suspect we wont be far behind...
