    I just had a talk to 5 Jehovah's Witnesses.
Two ladies rang the doorbell and I could not believe it.
First the ol' "We are visiting you because blah blah blah". You know the routine.
Can we leave you this Watchtower and Awake magazines.

I did not hesitate a second and ripped right into the UN issue.
These sisters were not aware of this issue.
I asked: "Did you know that the Watchtower was affiliated with the UN?"
Answer: "The organization would never have anything to do with the UN. I don't believe you."
Me: "If you wait a few minutes I will print out a copy off the UN Site."
    sister: "I'll wait".
I gave her the copy and then she tells me she can't read English.
The sister who was with her could neither, nor could she speak Dutch, the native language here.
I think she spoke an Oriental language.

These sisters still don't know that their Faithful Slave was caught in bed with the Scarlet colored Wild Beast.
After "discussing" a while, the men appeared. They also knew nothing about the UN affiliation.
They said that I was lying and the Organization would never do such a thing.

I told these poor misguided souls that they are Watchtower Slaves being deceived,
because at this point I was getting angry inside; an anger which reminded me of the time when I was in the Borg.
I told them also that the local elders here know about the UN association.
They have written letters from Bethel which were written to them after I questioned Bethel.
I told them to go ahead and ask them. They then left in a hurrie because by then the neighbors were getting interested.
They did tell me in their hurrie to get away that they were gonna put me on the DO NOT VISIT list.

I wonder what the elders will do when this circles around the cong.

    Ich bin ein schlechte mensch.

There are reports, according to the CO, that in New York, a very prominent "ANOINTED" man was disfellowshipped and he has his owm website where he has answered many JWs questions. Most of the JWs believe he's still a "brother" but in reality they don't know that they are his prey and are being taken advantage of by a disfellowshipped person!

Gee that sounds like the E-Watchman.

How about all those good JW child molesters and the child porn on the web. Maybe instead of pounding on all the dangers "out there" the should pound on the dangers "in there"

Afterall, just because people learn the 'truth about the troof' doesn't mean they now magically stop needing whatever 'fix' of self-righteousness they were getting from their involvement with JWs.

Lady Lee, I think that's a good point. I hang out on bnet JW debate sometimes and the apologists there know every detail of all the scandals, they just deny that it matters. I get the impression that self-righteousness is all it's really about for them.

Sounds like more desperate measures coming from the top. Hurray for freedom of information. The internet is one source the GB will not be able to control and will lead to their downfall. Their days are numbered and it is only a matter of time before every JW starts to get on the net to find out the "truth" behind the truth.

My sister has heard the same thing from the elders at her congregation. They say it is "worldly" and can dangerous. I've seen a lot of so called "Former JW" websites but I can tell they aren't really former JW's by the way they write. They just don't have the lingo. They're really fundamental Christians with an agenda. Some times I think they are more scaring than JWs....

Good observation, dietcoke. These people are trying to take advantage of those who have recently discovered that the JW's are fraudulent, by trying to get them jump from the JW frying-pan into their fire. People need time to examine important questions before being lured into another group that claims to have all the answers.

Real ex-JW sites like this tend to lead one towards freedom to think and freedom to question, rather than trying to push vulnerable people into believing another agenda.

After seeing what's on the internet, I'd never join a religion again. They all suck.
