Oh yes, I can relate. Every time I gave birth in a hospital, my labor would stop dead when I went through the front doors. It would take a good forty minutes for the contractions to start up again. All the exams and questions and people moving in and out of my room was very disconcerting. One time, I ended up with a doctor I hadn't even met during my prenatals (my doctor had lost his admitting privileges for some reason). It's a very odd feeling to have a male who is a stranger to you attend your birth. That's why my last two kids were born at home.

    Well Funch,

The first time I froze up was at a Cincinati Bengals football game against San Diego. It was called the "Ice Bowl". 30 degrees below zero! I was with my boss. We stood side by side at the urinals and he had his gloves under his arm. As he did the zip, one of the gloves fell into the urinal. He stared at it for while then picked it up. I was laughing so hard it froze me. When we returned to our seats he was wearing one glove. Somehow I didn't feel the cold.

Ummm ... I always do this. Mr. Winky has been lovingly washed in the morning & then tucked into clean skivvies. Lord only knows what my hands have touched over the past several hours.

Urine is completely sterile and germ-free. So why wash your hands at all?

But isn't it WOMEN who always go to the bathroom together? What the hell is up with that?

well, personally i like to do that if i'm somewhere unfamiliar and i don't know where the ladies' room is. that way, if i get lost, at least i've got my buddy! my albino twin refuses to do this, however. it annoys the hell out of her.
