That is unfair. Why treat me like that? I gave advise on the matter, and corrected your claim.

As an example you stated Jesus only gave two laws. Not true.

There is a difference between " greatest commandment" and other commandments that were given, see the difference?

I have given good information to consider, given you are dealing with JWs. Why just tickle her ears? A true friend would not do that....

I question myself everynight befor I go to sleep, will I be saved? Does god love me? I can not stop doing what I do, its my nature. I am so sorry, but i need to know is god going to love me? I am sitting here at my computer with tears. I know that the moment my family finds out about me: im out the door, so will god be there for me? I also question everynight to my self and cry myself to sleep, to is there really a god?

Welcome to the Board, To Be or Not To Be.

You post took me back about fifteen years. I was in the same position you are. Praying for a change that would never come. Knowing that if I were exposed, my family and friends would abandon me. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of options, do there? Well, I'm happy to say that things do and will get better. About five years ago, I met the most wonderful person and decided to spend the rest of my life with him. I was so filled with happiness, that I couldn't stay 'in the closet' any longer. I came out to my family. But to my surprise, they didn't shun me at all, they told me that they still loved me. Something I never would have thought possible at sixteen.

As for God. I believe (S)He exists. And, yes God loves you. He loves all of us! God would no more deny His love because you are gay/bisexual than because you have green eyes.

Again, welcome to the board. There is a lot to learn here from some wonderful people. (Gretchen is just one of my favorites! ) And be sure to check out the other websites that are geared specifically for gay/lesbian/bisexual JWs. Please feel free to send me a message if I can help you in any way.

Does God love you? Yes, I am certain that He does. There are many facets to normal sexuality, and being heterosexual is NOT the only normal expression of that sexuality. Homosexuals and bisexuals are not, obviously, in the majority, but their sexual preference is just as normal as anyone else's.

Homosexuality occurs everywhere throughout the natural world...humans are NOT unique in this. The only way that humans are unique with regard to homosexuality is their denial of it as an appropriate expression of humanness, and their refusal to accept those who are in the minority.

There is a site that you might find very helpful: http://www.gayxjw.org/ The owner of the site has does some excellent research on the Bible's attitude toward homosexuality, and the people there are very helpful and kind.

    Please check it out.

Welcome to the board...You say your fearful.... Dont be. !!! MY GOD >is a GOD of LOVE!!!

I do not believe in the God of the Watchtower.

First I suggest you get to know yourself!!!! Investigate what the WTower teaches ( because they have added alot -that scriptures do not say)

I am an old woman- But If one of my kids came to me when they were young & I was a JW-I probably would have been shocked & ashamed. BUT Now I know a GOD who tells us how to act....I Would welcome you into my arms & give you the love that Jesus died for you to experience.

Dont jump ahead of your Mum & Dad, maybe they wont kick you out....Just remember the Creator

is LOVE!!!!! Unconditionally!!!! He died that you might live more abundantly!!!! I would suggest you pop in to the site that Redhorse woman suggested to you. Of course being a GRANNY I would still remind you to pray! ask Jesus ( He is the mediator) to guide ,lead, direct you darling..... We care. (HUG) Grace

OMG. You guys litterally had me wiping my eyes. I wanna say im so glad to have been kinda "excited" and looked up : Gay latino pictures, because it brought me to you. This has been an ache in me for so long. And the fact that my world is starting to crumble at the time being because of one of my family members is suspecting and he cussed me out and said if he ever saw me again he would tell the family. So yea i needed a boost of confidence.

??My friend all I can tell you is Christ gave two, and only two, laws to his followers: love God and love your neighbor. ?? Big Tex. Your claim is not correct. Jesus also instructed his disciples on how to deal with disagreements within the congregation, which can lead to shunning, according to Jesus. Jesus also granted "Apostolic Authority" to some of his disciples while he was away. Paul is counted as one with Apostolic Authority. The second Law you left out (you only cited one of the two "greatest" laws") was to Love God with all your heart, which leads to keeping his commandments, which, Judeo/Christian ?laws? affect this subject. My advice, find a religion that does not adhear to Traditional Christianity.
So yea, i dont think that was to me at all, i dont think he/she wrote to me, but thanx for reading it anyways. j/p Also thanx to country guy whos actually been there. Although i know my parents would throw me out, cause ive heard it before, and ive heard the way the talk about 2 of my "open" family members. but yea, what i mean is im scared of the future. How do you know this ones it. How? what if it was evolution? well i dont know. im jsut very worried.

First of all, you are not alone! I found the link:

    Does god love me?

I am moved by your plea for love and understanding. And I am an imperfect human reading impersonal words. Trust me, if God exists, He is moved by your deep yearnings, and yearns to comfort you in return. Matthew 9:11-12.

I know that the moment my family finds out about me: I?m out the door, so will god be there for me?

We learn about our Father?s love by observing our natural father?s affection. If we live in fear of losing our natural father, it is understandable that you fear that God will reject as well. The God I read in the bible, though, is always ready to embrace, never reject. Matthew 7:7-11

They all say they are the right one, but how does someone know?

The WT teaches that you must be saved through an organization. So of course, an exiting JW naturally wants to know, if the WT is the wrong organization, which is the right one? Perhaps salvation is not through an organization, but a personal relationship with God.

LOLOL Acting coach? Probably to survive the next few years until you get out on your own!

You know, To Be, sometimes I am too. The future is a scary place when you aren't sure of your place in it. But, the best thing about the future is it hasn't happened yet. nothing is for certain and you have the ability to make your own place in it. I'll stop there before I start quoting The Carpenters.

The best advice I can give you is to talk to people about your fears and worries. Use this board. Use other boards. Use a counselor at school. Use a teen crisis line. If you are near a gay and lesbian center, contact them. There are tons of people who genuinely want to help. Again, if I can help, please let me know.

You will find most people here, whatever their orientation, have been mistreated by the WTS and its dupes. You are welcome here and will find most people here very tolerant.

Funny thing is my daughter, 20, was asking me about the gay marriage is Mass, US. She saw it as a sign of the end. I helped her see that people are as they are. How can God condemn some for having a different drive? She had never thought about it before.

The issue should not be your interests in other people but it should be that the JW's and their master the WTS are full of crap! Learn this and the power they hold over you will vanish and so will your fears. Maverick
