The Phantom Menace (a bitter disappointment)
Armageddon (Not the 1975 event, the movie. Choppy, implausible, bad characterization, and the falling asteroid cliche has been way overdone)
Take a Hard Ride (we sat through this 70's western turkey to see the second feature. It had a black man raised by Indians who used Kung Fu)
Damnation Alley (damnable)
The Neptune Factor (Boring! Close ups of tropical fish made to look giant, intercut with close ups of the actors pretending to be shaken up in a submarine)
Food of the Gods (Giant rats, and other fake looking special effects. Marjoe Gortner.)
Superbug, Super Agent (The Love Bug riped off.)
Most sequels such as Jaws 2,3,4; Superman 3,4; Rocky 3,4,5; Rambo 3; Speed 2; Die Hard 2,3; Robocop 2,3; Airport 1975,1977,1979; Home Alone 2,3; Beverly Hills Cop 2,3; Lethal Weapon 2,3,4; Escape from LA; Crocodile Dundee 2; Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey; Batman 2,3,4; Austin Powers 2,3
Silver Streak (Boring)
Tarzan the Ape Man (Too much of Bo Derek; not enough acting; bad direction)
Reds (high-falluting crap; A pivotal time in history and yet Beatty made this revolt so boring it was revolting!)
Being There (not the best work of comic genius Peter Sellers)
Spaced Invaders (yuck)
Most TV Shows remade into movies such as The Beverly Hillbillies, Scooby Doo, Charlie's Angels, Get Smart the Nude Bomb, My Favorite Martian; George of the Jungle; Rocky and Bullwinkle; Lost in Space; Buck Rogers; The Flinstones, The Coneheads, It's Pat, Superstar
Howard the Duck (When Lucas bombs, he does it in a big way!)
Pretentious Tom Cruise movies Minority Report; Mission Impossible 1 & 2; Vanilla Sky; Jerry Maguire (show me the exit!)
Mel Gibson flops (I mentioned Lethal Weapon 2,3,4, but also What Women Want (smarmy and smug), Beyond Thunderdome (yuck!), Bird on a Wire (what a mess! That last scene was so obviously a movie set!).
Osmosis Jones and Space Jam (pathetic attempts of merging cartoons and live action that pale in comparison with what Roger Rabbit and Lord of the Rings accomplished; hint: it should be a good story first and foremost; story should drive the CGI / animation, not the CGI/animation looking for some plot)
I guess I'm particular, but after years of being fed crap I don't want to waste my time on junk.
