Don't forget too that GW Bush is a miserable failure who, when our country was being attacked and he was one of a very few (if not the only) persons/person in the world who could actually do anything about it, went on about his day sitting on his ass reading a story about a pet goat to a group of kindegarten students.

    Six of Nine:

Why steal the topic? The questions are related to Kerry not, our Great President Bush.

Your dementia never ceases to amaze me.... what a gross mis-representation of events of 9/11.

That's about the stupidest and grossly misrepresented thing I've ever read on this board......scheesch....

Hey Sixy, I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in here. I have never been a Bush supporter. But I have to say that the of and the days immediately after 9/11 I found his relaxed demeanor calming to myself. I was scared to death. I was living alone with no one to turn to. I found his words comforting. When it's 8 oclock in the morning and you're reading to school children and someone comes and whispers in your ear "the country is being attacked", I mean how are you supposed to react. Hysteria insites hysteria. Rudolph Giuliani also was a pillar of authority in my opinion. So I will give Bush that much, I mean when something like 9/11 happens, sure you're supposed to be prepared for it, but everything happens so quick.

    ThiChi -

Don't even get started on contributions from Fortune 500 company execs lest we open the whole Enron issue again. You can't expect Kerry (or Bush) to go through each contribution giving it a "yea" or "nah". And about Kerry's flip flops. What's really wrong with that? Look around this board and I'll bet you can find quite a few individuals who have "flip-flopped" on some pretty strong beliefs they once had. Know what I mean?

I've heard many people, on TV, say they will vote for whoever can beat Bush. I assume they mean Kerry. Even long time Republicans see the need for an administration change.

Deleted original post as Six's comment was so inaccurate it was not worth addressing. I still love you though six Chev, you are voting for Kerry because your Job was outsourced? That sucks but it is hardly Bush's fault and Kerry couldnt have prevented it. I would rather see Billy Stick my Cigar in Ya Clinton back in office, Kerry is a Veteran back stabbing Moron.

Im not talking about immigration, we are talking about the loss of something to foriegn countries. That was your point right?

Not really. I was talking about John Kerry. His priority is to keep Americans employed.

We dont want to lose our low end jobs, and they dont want their intellectuals leaving the country to work over here.

That does bug me. I guess the governments in India and other countries should do something about it. Also, we're not talking about "low end" jobs such as an assembly line worker who makes minimum wage. Skilled tool and die makers, machinest, craftsmen are all being laid off. People who maybe don't have a college degree but have served official apprenticships for several years. For example, I own a small engineering firm that designs and builds tooling for the medical field (among other areas). My average tool and die maker makes $23.00 an hour. The average tool and die maker in China makes 50 cents a day. Now, I'm not asking the government to subsidize my business. Free trade is free trade. What pisses me off is that the government is more then happy to give grants and loans to large corporation to open factories overseas while closing their domestic plants. Again, if Motorola wants to close their plant here in the US and open one in China, that's their business. But when they us their influence to get goverment loans and grants to do that while the small guy like me can't even get any help, that's not fair. I believe Bush couldn't give a rat's ass about the little guy. I don't know if Kerry really does but at least he's talking about it.

In general, you make some pretty good points. However, for Kerry to come out and condemn businesses for outsourcing while he has vast holdings in a company that does outsourcing (80% is outsourced), and then take money from the businesses that are for pro outsourcing...do you see the concern? Which Kerry do we see here.....

Voting for Kerry will be like rolling the dice at a craps table...who knows what you will get!
