Well, in all honesty, although I see the funny side of this thread, it would be the same as me starting a women can't drive thread.

Sounds spot on! (said with an English accent) Get ye self informed about passive aggressive behaviors, my X was/is the KING of this personality trait and it will drive you crazy until you learn how to deal with them. BTW the way you did it was great!

Ahem--- I gave my son his first bath,,, changed 75% of the diapers (at least while I was home) taught him how to play ball, shoot, rope, ride, play guitar (the first lesson- rest is history) and a plethora of other tasks. Plus walk or drive to school, etc etc etc.... His mother always felt she was "overworked" (go figure?)

There have been studies about this...............women who multi task and can hear several things going on at once. The men tune in to one thing. They really do not hear you. They really are focused on one thing at a time. Try shredding the newspaper and that should get his attention.

Wait till those kids get older. You think men are good at this? Just wait till you see a teenager in action! They have this down to a science!
