I find it amazing that women are able to "multi-task", e.g. clean the floor, iron, wash the dishes, look after the kids and have a telephone conversation all at the same time but are unable to change a fuse or put up a shelf.
Also, I really don't get how using a VCR can be such a problem when the buttons are usually intuitive, often colour-coded and with symbols that have been standard for decades, whereas using a washing-machine somehow makes perfect sense to them, even though every single model is different, the control mechanism is usually a big dial with 20 or 30 randomly placed cryptograms, and there is no feedback until you take the washing out and everything's pink and/or shrunk.
And, of course, parallel parking.....
