  Without taking into perspective the religious view of homosexuality, there has to be a reason/s why it has always been viewed by the majority as abnormal and unnatural.

  Homosexuality is as old as mankind himself, but it has never been accepted - and probably never will be by the majority.

  If all the gay men lived on one island and all the gay women on another island, they would all be dead within a century. Reproduction is needed to sustain the human race.

  Lets face it - if being gay or lesbian or a bit of both was normal, then there would never have been an issue with it.

  A persons sexual orientation is none of my business unless I try to set up a woman who is lesbian with a male friend because I didn't know what her sexuality was.... been there

  A persons sexual orientation is no one elses business either. Just as their choice in religion, or hairstyle, or underwear, is noones business.

  I also don't like Paul, the supposed apostle. He was a roman powermonger that latched onto early christianity because he could take over, and did. IMHO.

  Homosexuality is actually revered in many cultures: Many native american tribes honor a person of two spirits. Polynesians had no problems with it. Nor did the Japanese culture. In Greco/roman times it was highly accepted.

  Even though homosexuality is a minority practice, most ancient societies managed some room for it, especially in the higher social classes; Greece is the best known example, but it is not isolated. I think there is a good case for accepted homosexuality in Israel before the monotheistic Torah came up, e.g. the story of Saul, Jonathan and David.
