As an individual, he's an awesome man. I saw his biography on PBS. They still roll him around standing on a golden Pope dollie thingy. My Andy, who was raised in the Catholic Church coined it the Pope Dollie. I think that's just cute.
One of the single strongest advocates for social justice in the world, currently, is dying in the hospital... and you fools call him a relic.
Yeah, well the Governing Body tells you to love your neighbor and pay your taxes, too. They don't live half as high on the hog as the Pope, either. Not even a quarter as high on the hog.
CZAR: .............and you fools call him a relic.............
Hey easy boy.... You remarcs don't seem very intelligent either (a third of the world listen to him..so he's right..) and from the pic you have I see there are a lot of sticks coming out of your head. Try to take few off maybe it will help your thinking abilities.
Kenneson:
I wonder how often his critics have had that [make the front page] honor.
If the critics get to live as old as this pope, I wonder what kind of shape they will be in when they approach their end. It's easy to laugh now, isn't it?
What's that to do with his hipocrisy......also I'm not laughing at him I am laughing at you
Yeah thats great....... HOW????? Because he makes speaches nobody can understand?????? (insead of going away with dignity and letting go at that trone)
Whether you think or believe the pope is right or not, he IS the leader of over a billion of people.
As head of state (and the Vatican IS a state) he has his own floor in a hospital - so what ? lots of rich people has second and more houses and appartments and lots of them have their own medical supplies. I don't see much difference. What's more, as head of the Roman Catholic Church he is entitled to respect: he is the representant of all Roman Catholics.
Granted, it is sad when a man died cos there was no bed available, but you can hardly blame the pope for Italian health politics (of for that matter European - it is bad all over).
It is easy to make fun of people, calling them names but imo that:
