    The Jehovah?s Witnesses have their opinions on how the world was and how it will be - one day. To achieve this they endorse the idea of mass genocide.

    None of this is reality. The world has always been a violent and dangerous place for humans and Animals. It is the nature of the corporeal world. We all have the capacity to be creative or destructive. Most people don?t have to rely on the violent side of their nature as we live in a very organised system - at the moment. You only have to upset the average motorist to see how normally calm people can become aggressive and violent.

    Only in a non-physical world that vibrates at a much higher level, can we be free of the restrictions of physical life.

    seven006,

    you said: They naturally think that it is everyone else who is causing the injustice.

    It is hardly realistic to think that EVERYONE ELSE is causing the injustice when I can look at myself and see how easily I can be counted among the "everyone else". Sure I've never murdered or raped or starved anyone but I have caused my share of problems. It's about accountability. Some people feel they don't have to take any responsibitiy for their actions. It is because of these people that I say, "Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

    It's more comforting for me to imagine the world without a God in it, than to imagine that there is one. (No proof either way, so it doesn't pay to be dogmatic about it) If there is no god, then this sort of thing makes more sense. We as the human species need to protect ourselves. From bad weather, from poisons, and from bad people like these. *WE* need to handle it. If you imagine there's a God, then you have to imagine he's seeing it all and allowing it. Then you're left coming up with excuses for why he might be allowing it. Even if you come up with one, it won't be satisfying.

    I couldn't have said it better myself!

    Alas for you who desire the day of the LORD!
    Why do you want the day of the LORD?
    It is darkness, not light;
    as if someone fled from a lion,
    and was met by a bear;
    or went into the house and rested a hand against the wall,
    and was bitten by a snake.
    Is not the day of the LORD darkness, not light,
    and gloom with no brightness in it?

    Amos 5:18ff.

    Myelaie,

    ***It's about accountability. Some people feel they don't have to take any responsibitiy for their actions. It is because of these people that I say, "Come quickly, Lord Jesus.***

    The concept of jesus followers felling that all it takes is his intervention because satan rules the world and is causing all the problems is in fact a question of accountability. Maybe I misunderstood your stance. Do you believe such intervention to be an answer because you are a believer or were you being sarcastic because you are not?

    Your additional posts in this thread lead me to believe you are a believer thus thinking intervention by someone else will solve our problems. That is conceptually handing over any accountability to save us from problems just as it is handing over the accountability to someone else who is believed (by religious thinking) to have caused the problems. In either case it is handing over our problems to someone else both causing, and saving, in an attempt to pass any accountability to others instead of ourselves.

    Please correct me if I have misunderstood you.

    You say there's good news everywhere? Well, every morning I go to the local coffee shop, hearing good news is certainly not on top of the list, if that. I've resigned myself to listening negative news.

    I get a frequent call from a fellow golfer going to work and you know what,he never has good news.

    I frequent other coffee shops where fellow community members spend their time and you know what, I hardly hear good news.

    I would love to meet people who can share some good news, really.

    Hang in there Michelle.

    GBL,

    I don't know if you are asking me your question but....I think that Jesus is waiting for the generation being born right now before coming. Why? We are at a crossroads, children born to otherwise decent people are raised without the benefit of the knowledge of God. Parents, caregivers and authorities are outright "rejecting" God for them.

    Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14

    I believe Jesus will be coming very soon for the sake of our CHILDREN.

    seven006,

    The Lord's arrival will force people to be accountable for their past actions, good or bad. It is nothing like passing the buck, if that is what you are inferring.

    No it's not, but you did answer my question, thank you.
    My first post stands and speaks for itself for those who can see what it is saying.
