Remember in the 80's, when it was popular to pinch roll your pants?

Well, I couldn't do that.

My mom would follow me in her car as I walked to school to make sure that I didn't "pinch roll". She said it made me look like the worldly kids.

After living like that, no wonder I was brought to pinch rolling some other things. puff...

And then they wonder why kids completely rebel. As a teenager no matter what I did someone always wanted to comment to me on what more I should be doing.

I was at every meeting w/ my friends for months and months on end. Putting in 10 to 15 hours every month. Doing my priveleges. What did I get called in for? Apparently one of the elder's wives complained we (me and my friends) always sat in the same seats at the meeting. We should sit in different seats so that we can meet "new" ones. I mean really at age 18 what can you reasonably expect from someone? No matter what it was that we did it was NEVER GOOD ENOUGH.

Evil Force--I know exactly what you mean. Why in the world would God create people to have likes/dislikes and various personalities if we were supposed to act like robots?

Couldn't eat Lucky charms (magically delicious) or count chocula or boo berry cereal.

Couldn't have posters of hot guys on the walls of my teenage bedroom.

But when I go, I do most of the things that Blondie can't do: wear sandals w/o nylons denim skirts, multiple earrings in each ear. no wonder only some of them talk to me.

When there would be JW Costume parties no one could dress up as the other sex.

You can dress up as a mummy, or a vampire, or a biblical character.... but if you dress up as the other sex you are cross dressing and imitating what was wicked in God's eye.
