To have a real breakthrough in world peace, I recommend giving up that they are "wrong." There is a way of viewing the world, a system of looking at facts, an ecology of interacting influences that makes the JW view of things the only possible way of being for millions of people. Only by awknowledging that can transformation happen.
I put my money where my mouth is on this one. I am an atheist. My family knows I'm an atheist, my friends know I don't believe, the elders know, and so do the Governing Body. However, I am neither disfellowshipped or disassociated. It is possible, when working out of human sincerity and honesty to create tremendous things. But to maintain the love of my family and friends without causing conflict I had to give up the right to be right and make others wrong.

hopefully its true that God judges us and not humans.. i know there are some sincere, loving , honest people within that 6 million. that " my way or the highway" thinking just irks me. it did as a jw kid, never could wrap my mind around the thought that God was gonna destroy everyone except jw's. it didnt make sense that Jesus died for watchtower sellers.

Next time a JW says: "Six Million JW's can't be wrong, can they?" Answer, "Of course not, they can't be wrong; even when they are."
After all, what is NEW LIGHT for? Why, to prove what they use to insist was true is still true; that 1975 was the end of 6,000 years of human existence and the beginning of the Millennium.
Wrong? Wrong is for the other guy.

There are only 500,000 Scientologists in the world? Interesting...I thought in order to be a member in good standing in the Screen Actors Guild you had to sign up for Scientology.
