Whoa whoa whoa who sez's there's 6 million?
Is this the Watchtower's own estimate from the folks who bring home the "truth"?
The History Channel circa 2003 say's 4 million.

spook: But to maintain the love of my family and friends without causing conflict I had to give up the right to be right and make others wrong.
I suppose if heavily conditional love is your bag, go for it. What, exactly, did they sacrfice to retain your love and friendship?
Who has true love if not the one at the mercy of those who have none? I get your point, but there is no healthy, mutually nurturing equity built in your relationships with them and you stifle your freeness of speech in their company.

By that logic, I guess millions of muslims, buddhists, catholics are even more right! How stupid.

Hmmm - but THEN I've heard THIS a few times:-
Matthew 7v14, ''...narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.''
Yeah, we've ALL heard this and many of us spouted it as proof that the WTS was right!
It proves nothing, except that Jesus said that there would be a very broad road filled with those who believe twisted meanings of what he actually taught. In comparison, very few would grasp the true meaning of his sayings.
For example, Matt 7:12 says "All things therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also mus likewise do to them". The Golden Rule. Simple and to the point.
Matt 7:15 says "Be on the watch for the false prophets that will come to you in sheep's covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits you will recognize them"
So taking the thoughts just before and after the thought of the "narrow road" scripture, gives a much wider view of what Jesus was trying to press on our minds. The import of it is understood much more clearly when we read the scriptures around a key point.
The WTS are masters at deception, and taking things out of context. The way to prove a religion to be the only "truth" is ridiculous, but they do a bang-up and clever job in making things seem to back up and support their teachings.
WTS teachings are so contrary to what Jesus said....especially right there at the "Golden Rule"!
1) Cutting off dear friends and loved ones just doesn't fit what Jesus said OR did.
2) Judging others and their beliefs is not kind or Christian.
3) JWs do not feed the poor or clothe the needy of the world, as Jesus said to do.
4) Jesus said to "do this in remembrance of me" and all but a very few go and sit, to watch the emblems being passed, no one accepting these, and going home. (what a slap in the face to Jesus and his father)
5) Jesus was understood to be the Savior of all mankind (for those that chose to excercise belief in him) and no other Savior was needed. The WTS tells you that you MUST be an active member of THEIR organization to be recognized and "saved" (using the meaning of Savior) or you will die at the "big A".
6) No where does the bible say that Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones that will be travelling on this narrow road, if at all. CLAIMING it doesn't make it so.
I could go on and list many more.........but I think these should give any JWs and JW lurkers plenty to question and do some honest research on.
