If later on there is a clearer understanding on some topic then fine. We obey according to what God lets us understand according to his will and at His time schedule.

We obey according to what he wants us to understand about his will and his time schedule???? Well, then why not toss the entire bible out, since what he had written in it was only meant for that time period? It's like the line that Jah reads hearts---so why do we need to endure the man-made rat race of the WTS schedule?

Does that make Jehovah a monster that lets His oun children die.

His "oun" children ? Did I miss something (or someone) here?

If Jesus didn't die(completely die)the sacrifice wouldn't of been valid so Jehovah stood and watched him die ... for us.

THIS one takes the cake, huh? If Jesus didn't die (all the way dead that is) then his sacrifice wouldn't have meant anything, okay? So Jah "stood there" and just watched him die (to make sure it was done right and wasn't faking it----see "faking death" for saving people 101)

If "for us" means all mankind, then this "real death" was the goal. If it was only meant for JWs, then this death was quite selective and limited.

Otherwise Jesus died in vain(at least in your case).

    Let the reader use discernment............duh.

Thanks Danny, for a most enlightening post. Out of the mouths of JWs.If it wasn't so pitiful, it would be funny.

    ACK!!!

    Sorry about the triple post.

Danny...great post what a morune this person is. How many errors in spelling, grammer, and capitalization can you have in a paragraph?

Here is a response to that post from the web site you listed I thought was appropriate.

The founding father(s) of the Jehovah's Witnesses used to believe that appendicitis was caused by the biting of worms; that pacifiers were the cause for diseased and enlarged tonsils; that grapes cure cancer because they are 'magnetic' and rejuvenate your mind with the sun's healing 'vibrations'; that constipation causes disease, not germs; and that vaccination has never saved a human life. They advised their followers to abolish the "devilish practice of vaccination?; that smallpox did not really exist; that one should avoid pasteurized milk because Louis Pasteur was a fake; and that the sun's ultraviolet rays are healing. Given their foolish, dangerous and misguided rationale, I believe it is suicide to give up one's life to remain a member in good standing in this religious cult. Does this teenage girl know their history? Do any modern-day Jehovah's Witnesses?

The idea of being wrong touches a cord with them, and the above statement is just another ridiculous and ill conceived assertion in the program of mental gymnastics required to shut the door on what is the horrible truth, that they are wrong, always have been wrong - what makes it even more difficult to open that door to light is that it is not simply a case of having believed some crap - they've preached it, stuck it to people, beat their families with it and even changed this whole life for it, giving over much.
