Im ashamed to say ive been eating way too much take-away food just recently- we have recently moved house and we still havent settled into a proper routine. Danzak curry is soooooooo good!

My wife makes an amazing lasagne- its now my favourite meal. She is a brillaint cook and looks after me well!!!!

Jeannie, that's almost exactly how I make my lasagna (except I've never tried fennel and I use Bertolli Tomato & Basil pasta sauce instead of tomato sauce).

A 9 X 13 dish usually lasts two people for about a week.

I cook every once in a while but I prefer to go out. I use to go out to eat for lunch during the work week but decided to stop so I would have extra money. I always get a salad and iced tea. It's only about $4-5 all together but it adds up. I can make my own salads much cheaper from home. We have a break room at work with a fridge so there was really no reason for me to go out for lunch. I go out for dinner about 5x a week.

I'm curious, has Indian food taken off in America? If I visited the States could I get a thumping hot Lamb Phall, califlower bhaji [cooked in ghee not oil], prawn on puree and roti bread?

I leave good curries to the experts but at home I cook lot's of Greek food. Stuffed vine leaves, kleftico - legs of lamb in my big clay oven in my garden, stefado, moussaka, olives, salads, wine, wine, wine

    thank you jeli,

gotta have the REAL ingredients and my boyfriend is half italian, so. . .

LUV to cook <french canadian blood>

we eat out about once a week usually for boyfriend's kids sake; other than that it's me cooking for 2, although boyfriend can cook very well himself.

We prefer to eat at home, as it is too expensive to feed a family of 6 at a restaurant here in Ontario Canada...We both love to cook, my husband loves to bbq, and we refer to him as the bbq King...ribs and steaks are his specialties, and I love to cook pasta, particularly lasagna....Jenniebeanz, you must have my recipe, or I have yours....it's pretty much the same, and it doesn't serve that many people...everyone has seconds here too...lol.. There is nothing better than picking up fresh ingredients, and making a gourmet meal at home......for a fraction of the cost of eating out....and , I kinda like my own cooking....

And on that note, my husband and I enjoy cooking together in the kitchen with a glass of wine, talking about everything and anything....it promotes a healthy marriage....
