    I believe it. But, depression is considered a mental illness.

    The world we live in promotes mental illnesses and phobias of every sort whether or not you are genetically predisposed to them or not.

    I know in the congregation I was it it was much higher than that. The stress level was driving some to flip out and require hospitalization.

    In my opinion, everyone suffers from one form of mental illness or another, it's just that some don't admit to it or worse...don't realize it.

    In other words...we're all messed up somehow, dysfunctional...which is mental illness.
