Who says we were even in Jehovah's Organization in the first place? I'm sure he's real keen on intellectual dishonesty.
Does anyone who Left Jehovahs Organization, still......

In 1997 following my exodus from the Watchtower psuedo-religion I did... I especially liked the Catholic Jerusalem Bible for easy reading, and I obtained over 40 different versions for study and resource. One of my favorites was the Jewish New Testament published by JPS, and Joseph Malik sent me a CDROM of the Online Bible which was great for study and comparison.
By now I feel comfortable enough with my knowledge that I don't read the Bible hardly at all. And I gain no "spiritual benefit" from it whatsoever. The Tao of Poo would serve that purpose just as well.

Now that I left the fake man-made "Jehovahs organisation" and become a Christian.I read and use my Bible more than I ever did as a "JW".

No, I haven't dismissed it entirely but there's many other sources of wisdom in the world and that includes some of what is found on the internet.

That is typical of ones who left God
First, I have to agree with Cruzanheart. Just because we left the Watchtower Society's organization, doesn't mean we left God. In fact, my relationship with God is stronger now than it ever was as a JW. Yes, I read my bible regularly, although not daily. But then again, I didn't really read it that much as a JW to begin with. Second, I find your assumptive comments rude, arrogant, and condescending. Seriously. I cannot imagine Jesus ever saying some of the things you say and with the tone you say it. If you are a true follower of Christ, then you'd see how your judgemental attitude towards those on this board is what he hated about the Pharisees. Andi

I admit I don't know very many Witnesses, but I haven't met one yet that reads their bible daily. WT publications, maybe. But not a straight reading of the Bible.
I wonder how many former or currently "good" dubs here diligently read their bibles daily as a JW? Keep in mind, looking up a verse here and there via WT publications DOES NOT COUNT!

I purchased a study bible, and so when I read it, I get much more out of it. Like the real truth, not the changed WTS version.

Who says you have to read the Bible daily? Where does it say it in the Bible? The Bible doesnt use the expression "the Bible" so there is no expression saying to read it daily.
There is Acts 17:11 But that is in reference to the Beroeans who thought to check out everything Paul was saying to them. It doesnt say they kept that up for ever...just until they were certain that "these things were so".
Would you quote Joshua 1:8 and use the example of the Israelites under Joshuas command who were advised to read the words of Moses? They were encouraged to read Moses "day and night".
Now I dont know about you, but the people I have seen and met who always take scripture literally and insist on other family members and friends doing so also and who read their Bibles day and night
become weirdos. There is a danger in reading the Bible too much you know. Persons who do so tend to take the Bible and its stories way too seriously and impose great burdens on others and try to make others feel guilty the same way the ancient pharisees used to lord it over others who they felt werent doing enough spiritually.
Jesus put those creeps in their places many times. I just finished reading Matthew 5. We cannot get all we need to please God out of the scriptures....more thought than that is required actually.Much of our gift to God comes from the insight of the workings of our own hearts of course based on scriptural knowledge. Jesus sums up his sermon at Matt. 5:48 with an extreme challenge to all of us requiring much more thought and love for neighbor than using our lives to sneer at others for reading their Bibles daily or not. -

can you leave something which never was?
once I discovered the probability that Jehovah was never more than my own sub consciousness, I could not leave what never existed.
as to the bible, I have since relegated it the level of cultural mythology and find no desire to read it daily.
