Did you take your toys and go home? I was hoping you would read the thread that I mentioned and come back with a comment. Perhaps, you might even choose to comment on the aforementioned thread.

I will try to read that thread when I get time.
"Simple questions for my buddy Duns." ... I haven't noticed that thread. I generally plow back thru the threads 3 or 4 pages to see what might have gotten past me during the day, but I don't recall seeing that one. How recent was it? Do you remember the date you posted it? If you don't, I can probably find it anyway.

What you can do is go to the top of the page to search, click it on and put in a unique word from the title, like buddy and it will show up.

Found it at: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=10021&site=3#119363
Thanks for the tip on how to use the "search" function. I honestly had not noticed it was there before. I will try to read it sometime Thursday evening if possible.

Friday,
Also, if you get a chance, would you look at the rather "chewy" discussion on Determinism, that I mentioned before. Even if we do not consumate a bet over this thread, I think you will find it interesting.

I will also try to review this thread too.

friday,
I brought this back up top so it would be easier to find. Since you have the links to the two threads I mentioned, I did not bring them back up, although Determinism came back up because of further dialogue between Duns and myself.

Thanks. BTW, I did realize that I had been misspelling your name. It's after midnight here and I haven't taken the time to read those yet. I decided that I would pick on poor ole Ken P. for a bit the first thing after I got back in the house. That ole scoundrel needs a roughing up now and then, don't cha know.
I've been outside for most of the day tryin' to isolate some oil seepage on the underside of my truck. I had to eliminate a few possibilities before I finally determined the source of the oil. It appears to be the crankshaft rear seal leaking. Although it’s a ’93 model I've only put less than 38,000 miles on the truck since I bought it new, and had hoped to go a lot further down the road than that before such things started giving trouble. It's definitely no easy process either to put in a new seal, given its location (transmission has to be removed etc.) And since it's not all that bad of a leak yet I'm simply gonna ignore it 'till it gets much worse, if it in fact does. I still don't like the mess that it creates bottom side (where there’s even a drop of oil there’s a mess). I'm kinda thinkin' about how I might affix a Kotex (you know, a feminine napkin of sorts) at the source so as to absorb the oil and keep it contained. Not a bad idea, right?
Anyway, I may still get to read those threads yet before I go to bed. I've got to break away from this computer long enough to service the wheel bearings on my RV (tandem axels = 4 wheels = 8 bearings to clean up and repack = 4 seals to replace). Man do I ever hate that job! Guess me and the wife will take it somewhere for a short excursion pretty soon, before the entire summer gets away.

Friday,
A vehicle problem sure can be irritating. I have a 1994 Buick Park Avenue. Awhile back a dash board light came on that reads, traction off, which means that wheels don't automaticly adjust in slush or mud. The mechanic that the problem is in the transmission and it does not represent a life threatening situation. I just have to stay out of swamps and blizzards. They said it would cost a thousand dollors to go in and fix it. I said I would pass on that one, and just stay out of bad weather.
Catch ya later. By the way, my real name is a rearrangement of the letters that form larc. I bet you can figure it out, cause you are no marooon.
YouKnow,
I thought that your post was most interesting. It has given me a new window to look through as I debate with myself on this subject. But I am curious to know some things....
Do you think that the WTS is part of God's Master plan of deception, they all or in part being decieved, or do you believe that the WTS is God's chosen organization?
If they are unknowingly helping God carry out this deception, and they themselves are the decieved ones (along at least 6 billion other people), then who are the 'chosen ones'? How do you know you are a 'chosen one'? Just interested and curious. Don't worry....I'm not about to blast you or anything, because I think you may acutally have some valid points.
My Regards,
Joanne
