JW.org to be regarded as fulfillment of the signs of the last days.

i struggled as a jw to accept that the good news of the kingdom was ever going to be preached in all the inhabited world by jws, as there were many parts of the world with few to no jws.

there are not enough to cover the 3 billion plus people in asia to allow everyone to get a chance to hear the message.

it also was offensive to me that jehovah would kill those billions that had never had a chance to accept the watchtower message.

The only thing we can be certain of is they will grasp at anything and claim it to be fulfillment of last days prophecy.

I can see some zealots claiming that Jehovah in fact earmarked the internet for the pupose you mentioned.

it is just plain creepy.. the article is called "keys to a happy life".... but the looks on the faces say something different!

My JW friend turned down the "privilege" of working the literature table at the park. Why?

i have written before about my jw friend that plays hookie with me on sundays.

we skip the meeting and go straight to lunch and margaritas.

she converted later in life and has been a jw for over 25 years.. she is in her late 70's and has had heart problems.

I agree BSB the the meetings are toxic to mental health, for all the reasons you have mentioned.

I suspect that herding everyone to a soul-less website will increase the feelings of social isolation

that many of the bro's are already feeling.To many, the bookstudy arrangement was the only "socialising "

they had, so when that was dropped it was the beginning of the end for any kind of "human touch".

also, no one, not even the cobe knows what the subject matter is yet.. everyone here should be ashamed of themselves for making the glorious ones in brooklyn more secretive than opus dei or the freemasons!!

Not about the mag table as such, but definite grumbling in the ranks about the futility of directing people to a website.

The oldies are the ones who will have the most difficulty adjusting.

years ago, when i was studying with the witnesses, my bible studty conductor's sister in ohio died.

of cancer as i recall.

so he flew back to ohio ( from san diego ) to be with his family .

Apparently when you belong to most loving, happy group of people on earth you evolve

into a superior being, that has no need for fellow feeling.

It's actually one of the perks of being a witness you never have to worry about causing

your mascara to bleed because of crying over other people.

"We Love You All Very Much"

you guys might recall that when the 2013 yearbook came out, the letter from the governing body ended a bit unusually:.

we love you all very much.

They don't love individuals they love the WWB/HOOD as a whole, (sooo comforting to know).

Just like Jehovah will save JWs as a whole (also very comforting for the individual).

Honestly,what kind of parent says to their children "I love all you kids as a group but individually I don't promise you anything"

'Gee thanks Dad that just warms the cockles of my heart, to hear you say that"

They couldn't give a toss about individuals, if you need proof of that just disagree with them.
