All appointed men are being told they have to pioneer now!

yes, you read correctly..... all appointed men have been told in a new letter that they have to pioneer to "set the lead" whenever there is a "special" campaign month.

they use some scripture saying that these ones have to show by example.... so for any of us who are appointed and have learned ttatt, it is going to be very hard to fade during this time!.

i remember that the watchtower teaching about human history was about 6000 years, but it seems loosen up a little bit, i am not very sure where, a public talk or another speech, but i definitely heard human history over 10,000 years at least, anyone any thoughts?.

i need help finding articles please!.

discussions have arisen where a bro has firmly stated that "the society has never stated 1975" , and that "we" never said the system would be over in a specific time.. i know there was also the article re education in 1968 ish?.

BOC, I only came across them fairly recently. Can't remember how but likely from another poster who quoted them. They were so eye-poppingly good, I marked and saved them for occasions just like this

I thought Sinutko was the one relishing the slaughter of billions of humans (didn't he specifically mention homosexuals too?), describing the piles of rotting corpses and how Jehovah might use antimatter to make the corpses disappear.

607 vs 587 BC - Cyrus Cylinder

hi everyone,.

i'm researching 587 vs 607 for the date of the destruction of jerusalem... i'm not doing the research to prove or disprove anything about 1914, rather i'm looking at these dates in comparison to 1948 & 1967.. what is your view on relying on the cyrus cylinder, to accept 607 as the correct date of destruction... i know that there are many other factors.. but i'm trying to keep this portion of my research as simple as possible, so i'm primarily interested in the appropriateness of using the cylinders date of 537 + 70 = 607. one other question.. is it likely that both dates 587 & 607 have their own significance?.

Jeffro, OK, so different commentators interpret differently and draw the past/future line at different places. It's a while since I looked into that part of Daniel and I presently have little patience with untangling all the various views. Each view will have its own rationale behind it.
