i was reading "run dont walks" topic on "when the governing body dies off then what happens?
" great post.. what we need to do, since there are alot of just "faded" members of the j.w.
organization here with us is this... next year, all you just faded ones, (the ones not disfellowshipped or disassociated) go to the memorial and "drink the wine and eat the unleavened bread"... .. brilliant isnt it.

not that i really care...but my daughters family has a few of them that are jw's.for many yrs they talked to me very limited,i guess they have found out that i no longer believe the org has truth to it.so now the shunning has started...lol when we met in the coffee shop my daughters father did this little dance shuffle, backwards to get out of my way...even a few weeks back when he picking something up from here for my daughter they had to get him to carry it(this happened before i knew i was a shunnee) he peeked around the corner of my door and took a weak step in..he leaned a bit couldnt reach what he was trying to pick up,then he took another step..leaned...still couldnt get it...i was watching him like..good gawd!!
does he think a demon is going to get him?how sad..i am amazed at what this cult has done to persons minds.....back to the story... =0).
my hubbies brother is married to my daughter's aunt and she is a jw.....and we went camping with my hubbies family and they were to meet my daughter's father and other jw...well when they seen me pull up in the van,i thought they were going to have a stroke.my daughters stepmom was about to pop her last nerve.they sat behind the tent and chatted forawhile and my brother in law came over and said they are leaving because of me.so they took down alll their camping gear and moved far enough away from the evil..bad bad heather.(lol).
****Mrs. Shakita doing a happy dance because Shera is doing one!
I am so glad that you aren't letting this crap get to you, good for you!

this happened in the mid 80's at a circuit assembly in wisconsin.
the "brothers" decided they had the solution to the long lines for the ladies room.
they went in there and covered the mirrors with brown paper.
Coffee:
Any guy who wants to sneek a peek at nursing women, is one sick pup. I have breastfeed my babies everywhere....the park, the mall....but always being discreet. I figured if anyone was hard up enough to stare at a nursing mother, that was their problem, not mine.

Whip it, flick it, stash it.......so funny!
I, for the life of me, never saw brown paper on the mirrors at an assembly.....and I go back about 20 years. Are we talking before that?
Women *back then* sometimes had to nurse their babies in those stalls.
Oh God, don't get me started there. There was one assembly hall were the nursing women (me being one of them) were stuffed into this little eight by ten foot room with one changing table and no air circulation whatsoever...and while trying to nurse our babies we had to endure the disgusting....revolting smell of baby poop.....the memory of it just makes me gag Since then, and past my baby nursing days, they have updated their nursing area to another room adjacent the women's bathroom so that ALL the women who have just relieved themselves stroll pass you and your nursing baby to stare and bother you when all you want is to be left alone!!!

well some friends, who we have been close with for a long time.
like ourselves they have been hardcore long time servants of jehovah etc.
asked our family to lunch today.
Good news.
My husband and I also have contact with witnesses on an almost daily basis because of work and family relationships since fading about over a year ago. My husband will go to an occasional meeting and meet up with some people we have known for a long time for some chit chat.....but so far so good as to them not pursuing us further than that. We are just seen as "weak", and are happy to remain that way.

...you see northern girl is back "gracing" the boards, and you know it's time to go back into hiding.
the only thing worse than vitriol is specious (and, i might add, poorly phrased, punctuated and misspelled) vitriol, aimed at those least deserving.
i am not in a mood to take her lame, semi-literate attempts to upset everyone here.
Rosemarie:
Mr. Shakita and I will miss you if you leave. Please don't let the riff-raff get to you, you are better than that.
If you must leave, come back real soon. I know Mr. Shakita has contact with you on another website....don't remember the name right now....so you can contact him anytime there if you wish.
Take care.
Mrs. Shakita
i have never tried to hurt anyone in my life.
i have always tried to love others from my own childhood upbringing.. i have been treated like a traitor.
everything i said was twisted.
I am so sorry, Rebel. I remember how much you were worried about this JC meeting.
I hope that with time your pain will lessen, and I hope that family members will not make life difficult for you.
Just take it one day at a time, it sounds like there are a lot of people here who are close by to help you out if need be.
Take care.
Mrs. Shakita
hey,.
my wife and i have had it with this expensive gate to hell, and we're getting out of jersey.. so, how is it out there?
what state do you guys think is better as to employment, car insurance, taxes, schools, etc?
Wow.....alot can happen in a week, can't it.
Ashi.......if you move, I'll cry. How's that for a guilt trip, huh?
If you have to pick anywhere, Texas sounds about right. Uncle Bob lives there and, even though summer's are quite hot he says, he absolutely loves the state. And, it sounds like you will have a lot of friends from here to help you out. I guess I will have to get over my fear of flying though.
We will talk.......but don't expect me to be happy.....
Love ya. Ma
