  I just had to look through my kids baby clothes to want another one. I just love babies! Had four myself. Of course, I had some help! Sometimes I really miss those great times. When you get older, you look back on all of the above mentioned inconveniences with great love and cherish those memories for a lifetime. Can't wait to have some grandchildren to love and spoil! (Hear that Ashi! No pressure though! I can wait.....say............nine months?!?)

  from my youngest days, i remember being told that we should be careful because of the demons.

  they are everywhere, just waiting to pounce on us.

  we were told to stay away from windchimes since they "attract" the demons.

  When I was young, I knew a girl who was a very sweet thing. Her family was having some problems. It turns out that some very strange things starting happening to this girl. I heard that they had to have a priest come out to the house, the girl was in so much trouble. Well, this girl starts speaking in another voice, starts levitating over her bed, and just acting up real bad! This priest starts praying over her trying to rid her of this demon that has entered her body. Her head seems to make a 360degree turn and..................oh yea, that was that movie "The Exorcist!" I guess I am getting a little forgetful in my old age!

  Some times you just need to remember.

  many of us have to admit that since we left the religion.

  there have been many moments of weakness where something happened that made us consider, even if only a little while, that we might want to return to the kingdom hall.

  i think these thoughts are only natural, considering all the years some of us spent in those walls and the fact that many of us were raised in that religion since birth.

  So depressed...(world conditions)

  today was one of the hardest days i've had yet since leaving jw.

  i was barely able to work, and i have a knot in my stomach.. i look at the world situation and i feel so hopeless and helpless.

  knowing there are millions of people outside of the u.s. that, if you were to put a button in front of them that had a label below it that said "kill every man woman and child in the u.s.a." that they wouldn't even hesitate to press it.. i wonder where it will end.

  About the media:

  When Ted Kaczynski's(the unabomber)Manifesto was published in the Washington Post, his brother and sister-in-law recognized his writing style and sayings that were particular to him and knew that the unabomber was indeed his brother.

  Just a thought, but if they published this letter that the authorities have from the sniper, maybe someone, somewhere, would notice something about his writing to give some clues to his identity. I know some of you who hate all this media coverage might not agree, but at least it would be something to go on.

  Will You Celebrate Halloween This Year?

  Yes, we will be celebrating this year.

  My daughter got the cutest costume. She is going to the a McDonald's Chocolate Milkshake. She's really excited. I think halloween is really for the kids. I am not really into that holiday. And, it has nothing to do with the JW stuff. I remember getting sacks and sacks of candy when I was a kid. We used to come home and empty the sack(we used pillowcases-they were big and held alot of loot!) and go out for more. Never bought store costumes, always made our own. I hated it when they would give us apples instead of candy. Apples, yuck, you've got to be kidding! Threw them out!

  I agree on the news coverage. But, on the other hand, how can people be informed if they don't know what is going on in their own community? I think the media can go over board. But, in this case, I think they are being used as informants to the general public so they can stay away from an area that might be a crime scene. I am sure that these crimes are affecting the highways and transportation system there. Also, it seems now that they are part of the play being directed by the sniper himself. He is calling the shots. And, the only way the police can communicate with the sniper is through the media.
