would you hit a woman if she hit you first? (for men)
by pudd ini would like to as the men on the board a question.
if your wife/partner were to slap you during an argument, would you feel that if you were you to hit back it would make you equal?.
we all know that violance, no matter how minor is wrong, but this is a question about equality.

Millions of Galaxies in the Universe with billions of Stars so why?
by shotgun inrecently a public speaker noted that the earth and humans are insignificant in comparison to the universe with its millions of galaxies and billions of stars.
my question to bible literalist's is... why did god confine satan and his demons to the vicinity of the earth with so many other uninhabited options?.
why not restrict them to uranus with a bunch of meat puppets to beat up?.

But what if God’s plan when we die is to simply say, hey pick a route and go explore!
Steve, what a lovely thought

(((( hi fader))) thats why we're here! the good thing about this board is that they'll always be someone up- i'm on into the early hours sometimes, the time difference won't really be a problem
-what do you like doing ? do you get a chance to meet new people now you're out? I hope you're ok and don't worry, adapting to life outside ofth organisation takes time.

((( Hi and welcome Butterfliez ))) I'm really impressed the way you've worked so hard to start to sort through your life and begin exit from the org so positively -well done.
you've had some great advice-I'd echo it and say not to meet up with them for as long as you can help it-they should allow you time as they should be thinking helping you not alienating you...making excuses may even allow you to fade in time... hope to see alot more of you

Joker and flower; I hope you did'nt misunderstand me; I think the Williams' sisters ability to be JW's without apparently, having to stop fulfilling their dreams is a great for them. I'm just disgusted at the two tier system thatseems to exist.
I remember having to sit through talks on patriotism and having the flag singled out as an example of the kind of small act that could cause wars ! We were councelled to not even support nations in the world cup with flags in our houses etc.So it just seems strange to see her with somethingthat other's would be asked about.
I feel sorry for the children who have society-led parents who can see that the Williams' sister's apparent free rein is unfair as they have missed out on the opportunities to be 'normal' at school etc. Iexpect many have had to miss out on once in a life time opportunities as they wiuld'nt be seen as spiritual choices. I just hope the Williams' sisters' actions, which show they can't really believe in the society's dominance over their lives,will send a message to witness children that the organisation has different rules for different people and hopefully that'll lead to more of them leaving.

I love books; historical biogs mostly, antique dutch china(blue and white) and anything from the 19th and 18th centuary,old dolls house tiny dolls and furniture, silk childrens clothes,charcoal sketches, lanterns, furniture; jewellery;
my childrens friends asked my kids recently if theyre scared living in our house; lol-a kind of Dickensian, Byronesque, Georgian mix.. -I always loved museums, abbeys and stately homes as a child and feel happy being surrounded by things that have a history and like to have candlelight rather than electric light .I think I was born in the wrong centuary
