  Food, sleep, action....

  i am dying for some distraction.

  my gorgeous nose has been stuck in books all day, and my gawd, i want some fun, some action, and some sleep.

  but i am not really sleepy, just tired, and i want some nice food, but am feeling a bit sick to my stomach cuz of all the chocolate i have been eating, and the chocolate wan't even meant for me, but it was so yummy, and i couldn't help it.

  just curious, what made you choose that subject to read? I am interested because some of my relatives were killed in camps in Jasenovac and Stara Gradiska?

  kindom hall "clicks"

  when i was a jw a was lucky enough to be in a hall with a "click" you know the type.

  they all hung out together.

  went to quickbuilds together and ensured that they were the ones with power in the hall.. i remember trying to join the quickbuild team as a 14 year old, only to be asked by the elder in charge of it (and allso in charge of the click), what building qualifications i had!.

  always on the" fringes of the congregation",always with a feeling that becuse we are immigrants we, somehow are less important and not worthy of being invited, yet those ones who looked down upon us never refused free meals when we invite them over on sundays after the meeting.

  sick touhgts from sick mind. this person should be put away for good. he is dangerous because he is trying to make himself a victim completely denying that what he did to little girl is wrong.

  on the other hand what if this is sad atempt to put some positive light on elders actions,like ,you see they do disfellowship pedophiles, they are still doing something about the problems?what I am thinking that this could be made up account to refute statement that wt organization is paradise for pedophiles? either way it is sickening

  thank you very much for such detailed wt study. imagine being able to give comments like this during sunday meeting?!

  I was always confused with their missrepresentation of James 2:26 - faith without works dead- wt always applies that when emphasizing obedience to rules and regulations imposed and expected to be followed by faithfull sheep and almost never for what it really applies to - helping others from the heart.

  with regard comment that if in financial problems we should scale down and accept smaller acommodations, I can really relate - when our family experienced hardships and on top of that we lived of one income,with 3 kids in small two bdr apartment, elder who just bought his second house told us how he envy us for living such a nice, simple life and how we are truly blessed to be able to give more in jehovah`s service.yeah right.in that time we didn`t know where our next meal is coming from.

  anyway that is just one of the reasons why we are no longer jws - their hypocracy and lack of understanding and love.

  ? for those being shunned who have little kids...

  if you have young children and you are shunned by other family members what you have told your children about why?

  my son (4) and i need to have a chat soon and i'm really not certain what i am going to say to him.

  he loves his auntie and uncle and gramma and he wants to see them.

  my children are older - 8, 10 and 13 and even thou we don`t have immediate family here in Canada, our witness friends were really close to us so in them our children had grandparents, aunts and uncle. we are not DForDA ( as far as I know) but are very much shunned as a whole family. we told our kids everything and they stood by us.

  In a way I am glad that nobody calls, because I don`t want any of those so called friends to confuse our kids and tell them lies by pretending they care.

  so it is up to you to decide but I am sure happy that our kids are not exposed to that brainwashing anymore.i wish you all the best.
