  well a year ago, i ended a five year relationship with a man i thought i'd marry and have babies with.

  i left for lots of reasons but mainly because i'd lost myself and i wasn't really happy with him.. i moved into my own place and life has been an adventure.

  i dated a 21 yr old, that was interesting haha.

  Yes, it's good that you're taking the time to learn more about yourself and to think independently, though you were quite a rebel and an independent thinker to begin with.

  If you like to move, my recommendation is why don't you go visit different places. Visit friends and Stay at friends'homes in other states to see if the place is somewhere you like (the weather, the people, the cost of living, the environment, etc...)

  Well, if it's not far for you, how about coming down to Florida for a visit? You know me, joy2bfree, VeniceIT, MrMoe, safe4kids, thinkforoneself and a bunch of others from this board.

  i am serious, i have have noticed a distinct pattern in my headache.

  flare ups here lately.

  when i decide to start reading the bible or give spiritual mediation a try, i start to get sick.

  Yes. Please take yourself time off from religion. No one and No JobTurkey (No offense to Wild Turkey )can tell you or force you to get right back on it. If religion is something that makes you sick and uncomfortable, then don't think about it and don't involved in it.

  I consider myself a Christian, but I do believe strongly in Freedom for everybody. My folks are not Christians, yet I love them and they love me despite I don't believe their creed. So, please put religion in the backburner of your mind and your life. Enjoy the freedom and enjoy life.

  BTW, say Hello to Wild Turkey for me.

  house bill would require clergy to report sexual abuse .

  the illinois house passed a bill thursday that would require clergy to report allegations of sexual abuse against children.. the bill, sponsored by rep. eileen lyons, r-western springs, applies to any clergyperson who, through his or her professional religious duties, has reasonable cause to suspect a child is being sexually abused.

  the report would have to be made to the department of children and family services.. the bill is in response to the rash of catholic priests accused of sexually abusing minors, and their superiors in the church concealing their histories, lyons said.. "it is aimed at those (clergy) who would be more concerned with protecting their image and protecting their own than about victims," lyons said of the bill.

  I hope that bill will become federal for all the states to make it MANDATORY for ALL religions (Hindus, Muslims, Christians)to report sexual abuse to the Authorities.

  Those cowards that hide behind the cloak of clergy need to get a taste of their own medicine in the Big House, where they have ZERO respect for sexual abusers.

  when i was growing up, my mother was a witness, and my father was not.

  my mother took me and my brother and sister to the meetings with her.

  I agree with Francois on this issue.

  Look dissedsis, if you don't make a stand for yourself and protect your kids, then your "dear momma" will take over by replacing you with her and hijack your kids' minds. She will teach your kids to "hate" for being an "apostate".

  If you're mother is still hateful toward you, what effect will it have on your kids? Believe me that "hate" will be spread to your kids. Also, if your mother is still hateful towards you, why will you still let her visit you and your family?

  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, dissedsis. STAND UP FOR YOURSELF! SHE, LIKE THE WBTS AND OTHER CULTS, IS BULLYING YOU ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. IF YOU LET THE BULLY GET AWAY, HE/SHE WILL CONTINUE WITH THE BULLYING.

  Either take the same approach that Francois did: Make your mother clear on: "WHO IS THE BOSS REGARDING EDUCATING AND RAISDNG YOUR KIDS?" OR
  Cut off ties with her.

  I apologize if I am writing in Caps, but I feel that you've been TOO NICE to someone who's hateful toward you.

  Could I get sum cult links?

  can any of you posters provide some good links to anticult sites or articles.. i've been to ex-cult.org, fom.com and others but i need something more specific.. i was thinking about anything around the lines of an article explaining in detail any or all of the following:.

  1) how cults use decietfull recruting tacktics.

  especially how they put on a show for the new converts but only reveal the true doctrines/attitudes after the recruit is hooked;.

  To My Mother

  at about 6:30 this evening my mother passed away.. .

  the best mother and the best wife anybody could ever be blessed with.

  she was not only my mother, she was my friend.

  PICTURES- of my new nephews, TWINS!

  yep..... on may 10, 2002 my youngest sister had her first kid(s) .

  twins they were.....though i cannot tell you at the moment if identical or fraternal.. best part is every one came home ok and in great health.. they were 3 weeks early, and weighted about 5.5 lbs.. names are mexican????

  i think.... unai, and esai.. (don't quote me on the names, i am really bad with that stuff!).
