I just need to vent. I want to scream from the rooftops right now. Life is hard enough when you battle blood cancer but is an unnecessary evil put upon good people by this evil cult. DAMN THE F'N A**HOLES TO HELL!
This particular person is one of the few that was there for my family long after everyone else left.
I know to well how difficult this battle is as my son is 2 years in of his 3.5 year treatment for ALL. The 2 weeks in the hospital w/the weight of this life threatening disease and thinking I would lose my son due to the disease and blood. THANK GOODNESS FOR THE COURTS. My stupidity of allowing HLC there. HLC is there with her now.
My wife and I will do what we can to support her and know we can't say anything to her as she can't handle it in this weakened state.
I am just so mad. They are no better than Jones as far as I'm concerned.
Why oh why can't we do more to stop them.

Half a Billion Babies Article on JWTrumpet
by ApostateChick inhey guys... check out this article.
though it is written satirically, it really does shine a light on the cold, hard "truth" that the witnesses believe.

life after the wtbts
by Hortensia inyou can't move forward to a new, more interesting, possibly much happier life, if you're still looking behind at the former life.. there is so much obsession on here about what the wtbts is doing, and discussing all the forms of injustice and bullshit in the wtbts, or how to bring down the wtbts.
yes, their doctrines are crazy and they are a cult and cruel to boot.
move on.

I am sure that you mean well. I also don't have a problem with tough love when it is appropriate. At best this smacks of a lack of sensitivity to those who have lost so much. How many here have lost loved ones due to this cult and I don't mean figuratively.
This cult is taking people's lives. I almost lost what is one of the dearest things to me, my son. I can't bear to think of someone, anyone losing their child.
How many have committed suicide due to this cult. I thought of it often until I realized that I wasn't crazy but this cult is. Could your words push someone who is recovering over the edge?
Some here have known nothing else and can't fully leave due to family obligations. Sick loved ones and so on. These vent here, hope here, and look for understanding here.
It seems to me that you are still hanging on to your judgmental attitude learned from this cult.
Thankfully most here don't come across like you. I am grateful for the majority of individuals here who show love and support.
We are not just talking opinions here. People have died and are continuing to die because of this cult. I for one believe in causes that could save people's lives. I will do all I can to help save those I love. Even if it's just one.
Please remember words matter.

Hello all. I am new here. I have posted a handful of times so far. I am seeking some ideas to plant some seeds with my nephew before he goes to Patterson.
A little about me and the going away party where I will have an opportunity to plant these seeds. I have a little freedom since I am the only relative that he is in communication with that spent some time at bethel. My brother knows something is up with me but not the full extent. I have stepped aside as an elder within the last month, have stopped going to meetings, and grown a beard. I have told my brother that I will shave for the event so as not to cause a disturbance for his son. I will likely be around other jw family members and friends from his congregation so I have to be very careful how I word things.
I still need help from my family due to a serious illness that my son has. My mother is starting to learn and accept TTATT but this is all she has known, and all the friends, and family that she has. I don't want to make being around my family difficult for her. Which would be the case if I were df'd.
His son is 19/20 and is a M.S. He is very naive and has little if any real world experience due in large part to being home schooled most of his life and working for his father my brother. I would also like to potentially reach my brother through him. My brother and I are very close in age and have been relatively close through the years. We have been there for each other through some of the toughest times of each others lives.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Azor

This idea might not be new, but does a website like this exist?
by ILoveTTATT ini am deeply upset every time there's someone in the news who has died because of the stupid and immoral blood doctrine.. i would like to make a website documenting every single instance of a news report of someone dying from lack of a blood transfusion, and to keep track of it.
that would give some data on the real and current incidence of deaths due to the blood transfusion doctrine.. is there already a website like that?.

Thank you for posting this. I could have lost my son due to my stupidity. Thank goodness for the "superior authorities". My wife and I have mourned greatly over the last two years while our child has been undergoing treatment. I shudder to think how much worse my family would be now had it not been for them. This is a sick cult that carries much blood guilt and has others do their dirty work like Charles Manson did. I am grateful to be free and will do what I can to hopefully help others do the same.

Just quit quietly - the law is on your side!
by Ajax infreedon of religion guarantees any individual the legal right to abandon any religion at any time for any reason.. if you are a citizen of a country which champions human rights, then your government doesn t care what religion you join, but they will uphold your freedom to join it, without interference, coercion or persecution.
your countries human rights legislation will conversely uphold your rights when it comes time to abandon any religion you so choose.
those (elders) who incite others interfere, coerce or persecute those who have left will be in transgression of the human rights statutes.. a person is only obligated to ecclesiastic law if he exposes himself to it or transgressed it while still a member of a religious community.. when your time comes to abandon the jw-wt cult, do it while still in good standing, be proactive - be decisive -put it in writing!..and do it before the hounders set sights on you.. write a card or letter with as much or as little explanation as you one day might wish to share with pharisees and lawyers.. take this card to a notary public to have your signature witnessed and have the writing overstamped in several places with the date.

I have stopped attending meetings. The last meeting I went to I gave a part on the service meeting. I resigned as an elder last month once I learned TTATT definitively. I couldn't stomach it any more. My question above was more of a curiosity. I struggle with bitterness at times. I'm a third generation born in with my entire family very committed. All of my siblings that can serve do so as elders and servants. I can't fully walk away because I have a young child with a major disease and need support from family when he receives treatment. Hopefully he will be done in the next year. I have much to vent and will soon. I have been on here for the last month and it's nice to know that my immediate family is not alone

First time posting. Does anybody know if this will hold up in court. In other words can this be used to bring a suit against the watchtower?
