You aren't what you eat
by Simon infor those of you who watch what you eat... here's the final word on nutrition and health.
it's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies:the japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the british or americans.mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the british or americans.the japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the british or americans.italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the british or americans.germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than the british or americans.. conclusion: .
eat and drink what you like; speaking english is apparently what kills you.

Wednesday -- They don't make kids take PE anymore??? Wow. That is awful. I am out of touch with the new elementary generation, I suppose...
I went to a fine arts school and had dance class three times a week. No basketball for us -- just good old fashioned ballet and jazz. Does a body good.

It will be interesting to watch and see if charges do arise -- I believe they should charge her with obstruction and whatever else is relative (probably all misdemeanors, but I'm not sure).
They did say, though, that they still believed her Feb. 1 story because her friends FOUND her unconscious... CNN said the police were not doubting that story at this time. hmmmm.
This whole thing disturbs me greatly. It's a smack in the face to all of the families who truly have lost loved ones, such as Dru Sjodin's family. I hope this girl realizes what she put her community and family through. :(

WHY? Seems awfully graphic for television... but then, I think those "plastic surgery" shows are too graphic. I am blood shy.

The Witnesses I know think it's awful because, of course, Gibson isn't a Witness, so it's all wrong. They did say they were going to use it to place more "Greatest Man" books. *blech*

Google starts G-mail (1-GB) FREE...
by Special K inin the paper yesterday,.
google starting new service, g-mail.. g-mail will provide users with a huge one gigabyte (1gb) of free storage, making the need to clean out the e-mail box inbox irrelevent for most people.. the companies believe the new service will rewire the way information is retrieved in e-mail messages.
g-mail will automatically organise e-mail according to topic and allow users to search their messages --including who it is from, the text and subject lines---in the sam way they search the internet.

I really want to get one of those. I'm also an e-mail pack rat... I have saved every e-mail my hubby has ever sent me, from before our first date to the present. My hotmail gets full every other day. Definitely something to look in to... thanks. :)

OMG those things are CREEPY! I personally don't like eating anything that still has eyes... even if they are fake eyes. Animal crackers used to freak me out as a child.
(Yes, I'm strange.)

Do NOT laugh at me.... My nieces had vitamin bubble gum, and I tried it, and I'm hooked. 100% of everything in five minutes of chewing a piece of yummy bubble gum.
(Yes, SLM is five years old.)
