  how do you deal with the fact that you no longer have the hope as jw does?.

  i've difficulties reconciling with the fact of growing old etc.

  and not knowing what will happen.... thanks.

  im an atheist and i like the idea of being an athiest but its kinda hard

  im an atheist and i like the idea that comes with freedom of though and analytical thinking that follows being atheistic vs having a religion im just kinda in a jam because i need to try and find something to completely lose the thoughts in the back of my head that say what if im wrong and i "suffer" because of it.

  i feel that if i can find something to destroy these thoughts i can be alot more comfortable with my views and opinions.

  anyone have any thoughts on what i should do.

  If you base your decisions off of what will happen to you if you don't do something don't you think that god will know and still punish you? The genie is out of the bottle and you can't put him back, you will never be a true believer again so you might as well get used to it and go on living your life!

  RECENT REVISIONS TO THE KH DRESS CODE?

  i was told by my former book-study conductor recently that a new 'dress code' had been handed down by the wts, because people had been 'getting too casual' with their styles of clothing.

  one item he mentioed was a new rule for women prohibiting denim skirts.

  and, when a woman wore a denim jacket, she was also told this was not appropriate for the kh.

  I wore a denim skirt with a denim vest when I was a kid. Spaghetti straps were always out and my mother just about had a fit when some of the other teens wore them. I remember though that my denim stuff was never "assembly" appropriate. Guess there are degrees of pole-in-ass insertion.

  why do none of the dubs clue in that this points to them more so than any other religion and is a major cause of all the burn out in their religion?

  I don't feel as if it is lost, however, there is a void that I am having to deal with. Also, I seem to have some measure of respect for the role faith has had in my life, so I'm grieving rather than angry.

  Then that means you will one day move past that void wings. :)

  for those of you who followed my weight watchers thread (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/157445/1.ashx) ... i am so excited to announce that this week i hit the 10 kg mark (22lbs) .

  this is going so well and i am feeling very proud of myself, and also looking a lot better.. .
