When I was growing up just about everything we owned was garage sale and thrift store items. We never had any problems with "demons".
I think that the majority of JW's that have these "demon" problems are just mentaly ill from trying to live the JW life.

well, as i have posted here before, i am in a rotten relationship.
so, i have decided to get a phone tape recorder thingy.
sheesh, i can't believe the other lives this person i am living with is living.
Canadian Law might be different than US Law. Also does the law apply if you record your own phone? I don't know the answer to this one. Any legal folk know?

i heard some time ago that have never been any district conventions in las vegas........anyone know for sure?
there must at least be circuit assemblies ........... if this is true........where do all these ones have to go for a district convention?........
(la is about 6 hours, last time i travelled it)
I think I remember going to a Dist. Conv. or Circuit Assembly in Vegas in the early 70's. It was in a rodeo stadium if I remember right. I remember it being in the desert, maybe it was Reno, but I think it was Vegas.

Also one of the SP episodes the say "sh!t" like 200 times (there is a little conter at bottom of screen that advances every time they say it). All this was before October of 2003.

Hi Shamus, I fully understand your wanting people to be free from the Borg immediatly. But some people are not ready to take the full plunge.
I did exactly what you suggested and haven't regreted it one bit. I didn't even have a judicial meeting (at least not one I was informed about). I was young at the time (22) and our family was not all that close any way.
ps If i accidently post your name wrong in the future, it is not intentional. Every time I type your name I have a problem with putting an "N" where the "M" is supposed to be (so it's "shanus"). I try to proof read my posts before I submit, but sometimes a typo or 2 still make it thru.
