how is your self confidence?
by freelife inone of the things that i have noticed since i have been out of the borg is how my self confidence always seems to be in the dumper.
i don't know if this is beause we were never permited to have any original thoughts or if it is just a personality flaw.
i am always looking for assurance from my fiancee, friends, and coworkers that i am doing good.

I am always looking for assurance from my fiancee, friends, and coworkers that i am doing good. I hate to have anyone get mad, i always end up giving in to other peoples demands on me. it takes a lot out of me to stand up for what i think is right in my own mind, and so many people take advantage of me i can't say no. I think the only person i can be completely honest about my feelings with is my fiancee. I know that no matter what i feel i can share it with her.
My other question is do you feel too trusting at times? trust is also a very big issue with me. i am very over trusting and i get taken advantag of. i think it is all the programing we have recieved.

When jw parents act anal it is a real shame. But they are so infused into their thinking that hardly any event could shake them from the closed minded slumber. In my case my parents informed me that if my fiancee and i were going to have any kind of religous ceremony that they would not attend. To any sane person if their childern were to have some kind of life changing event they would be there for them. Unfortunately the cult has them so caught up that they can't see past the shell that they are living in.

Need to vent about my job!!
by smurfy ini work at a bank doing processing, underwritine, inputting, closing, signing and anything else related to mortgage or home equity lines of credit.
as we all know the rates have been incredibly low for the past 2 years.
last year the bank more than took care of me with my raise and my bonus.

I was from Duluth MN. My father worked in thunder bay when i was but a wee lad. Awsome wilderness country. I want to go up there and visit that general area. Now that I am older I can appreciate the true beauty of the land (but just not in the dead of winter). I think that he may have gone to some meetings up there but that was in the early 80's.

I am a bitter person to religon now. it is hard to accept religous beliefs after our minds have been raped by a org. that wants to control every aspect of a persons life. i feel lied to and used. Now i have a very hard time accepting god in any form. I am now into trying to straighten out my own mind. After i do that then maybe i can accept god into my life. Until then though i feel that have to make up for almost 26 years of being lied to.
