No, I'm not angry or bitter. That would mean rejecting that there was any good out of being a Witness and I still can't do that (I do have good memories for parts of it)...I am sad that there are so many people that I would still consider friends (even if they don't consider me one) who still believe the lies of the WTS.

Mr. Whittle probably said that it is just Satan using the evil alien machinations to mislead them into thinking his website is apostate. I mean, how can you mistake that great informative page about the link between UFO's and his birth as being apostate?

Letter to all congregations Feb 18, 2004
by Puternut into all congregations of jehovah's witnesses feb 18, 2004. .
re: important changes and announcements.
dear brothers,.

Great letter, Puternut...but there is one problem with it: apologizing to these things means that they would have to admit that they have been doing these things all along. Rank & file Witnesses don't know about the NGO situation or the child abuse or the stocks because the Society has told them not to believe anything us 'worldly apostates' tell them. So, by sending out an apology, they would be admitting that maybe those apostates have been right all along on many more issues .

I'm stupid, whats the biggest mistake you've ever made?
by dustyb inso who all here makes mistakes?
my single biggest mistake was being born...otherwise i'd have to say that my biggest mistake was taking up a hobby in extreme sports such as riding motorcycles and mountain bikes down buzy streets, and skateboarding.
doing all of this while i have a bone disease that severely limits my mobility now and in the future..... also posting my previous topic was retarded =d

First of all, dustyb, it isn't a mistake that you were born because you quite simply couldn't control that...don't even joke like that because even for self-deprecation that is harsh...
Anyway, my biggest mistake was buying into peer pressure when I first got baptized...even back then there were things I didn't agree with but I just chalked it up to not being righteous enough...

The witnesses called today and I wasn't home........but,
by Holey_Cheeses*King_of_the juice. inmy wife just happened to be at the house.. looks like who ever assigned the territory today really stuffed up as two young (late teens/early twenties - don't these kids have a life?
) brothers strolled up to our front door.
we have lived at our present address for ten years, and although we have spotted the dubs working our street on numerous occasions, this is the first time they have paid a visit.. maybe the brothers didn't read the territory card very thoroughly, as surely they would have my house identified as being inhabited by a wicked evil apostate bastard (how sweet that sounds!).

"Oh, I see you have someone in the house in a wheelchair" after observing the ramp up the front steps for the use of our wheelchair bound son.
What tact & cunning! He really segued into his intro with that little gem ...
Heh, I don't know why you thought the magazines would be different...even when I was a devout Witness I figured that the writing department just used old material over & over again...

What was the battle of Nijmegen?
Obviously someone here wasn't a devout JW because if he was then he would of read the book of Debbie and known about this humongous battle!

Did anyone see this on Good Morning America?
by ARoarer inwe have been charging crimes like incest, child abuse, all kinds of welfare fraud, tax evasion, other types of white collar crimes," he said.
shurtleff said they are concerned about the possiblity of a violent confrontation between released members of the sect and jeffs because being kicked out of this type of group equals having your entire life destroyed.
"it means you must leave your property, which is owned by the church, leave your business, owned by the church.

How do people believe this shit?
Oh, that is much worse then believing that any day the entire world's system of religion will collapse and then there will be a tribulation unlike anybody has ever seen.

How insane is the GB?
by new light inhas anyone stopped to consider the mental condition of those who have been at the top of wtbts?.
how crazy was c.t.russell?
i surely don't have all the facts, but i do know this much: a man in his twenties felt that his interpretation of a 2,000 year-old book was directly sent from god above.

Syn, can you give more information on that parking lot situation? That sounds real interesting considering that I remember all those assemblies where they guilt tripped everyone into paying the fee...
