i see the average jehovah's witness as a waste of food & oxygen. the ones who are seduced in and realise it's not for them and have trouble getting out are the ones i see as victims.

Do you see the average Jehovahs Witness as a victim...?
by trevor ini think most of us appreciate the difference between the tyrannical watchtower society and the average sheep like followers who make up the congregations.
we have been jehovahs witnesses so we know how brainwashed they are.
i am interested in knowing how you feel towards jehovahs witnesses individually and whether you hold them accountable.

i realise people are calling it addictive, but seriously, i have taken it a lot of unconnected occasions and haven't found it to be addictive in the slightest. when i used to fly a lot i would take 20 or 30 mg's so that i would be totally spaced out and knocked out before take off, i would take a cocktail of diazepam (valium) 1-30 mg and temazapam (a regular sleeping tablet) 20-80mg, mmmm, sleeeeeeeep... flying 12 hours is boring anyway, and i have long legs, so that is my justification, and the only reason i would take it on a plane, but that being said... never once have i felt compelled to take it (or anything else for that matter)... i like the feeling of valium, it is designed to take an edge off, and if i did want to take it all day long, i could because it is easy to get hold of by the thousand, but i don't feel the need to take it often at all... so that leads me to believe that it isn't addictive...
my take on it (diazepam) is that it's a great recreational drug! - take it for a medicinal purpose and you are probably gonna have to take it regularly, and that is probably where the addiction comes from. take it for fun and not often, and enjoy. feel free to tell me how wrong i am, just stating my personal opinion based on my personal experience with this wonderful blue pill. lol

JW's and the Death Penalty
by minty indo jehovahs witnesses agree with the death penalty.
in leviticus it says: "'and in case a man strikes any soul of mankind fatally, he should be put to death without fail.
-
dh
jw's claim to follow the bible, but they pick and choose which parts to follow. technically they would claim to follow what jesus said, not mosaic law which is what would have been in play in leviticus i guess. so in that light i do not think the party line is to agree with the death penalty, as life is sacred and it's only up to jehovah to judge, ironic that life is sacred to god, but that as jw's interpret it, blood is more sacred than life.

What would Jesus say if he was a member of this forum?
by ballistic ini think he would quote people by saying "for just as you have written...".
then he would start with "truly i tell you today...".
and then come out with amazing, profound yet completely vague reference such as "for by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned".

Has anyone still have the hope..................
by defd infor living forever on a paradise earth?
if not, why?
-
dh
i don't hold out any hope for fictional things, nor do i have any desire to live on a 'paradise earth'. if paradise is different to every person, how can the whole earth be one united paradise? it can't can it. it's just a jw fairy tale.

Is Katrina just a precursor of things to come?
by zagor inif damage from one storm is going to cost, as they say, over a hundred billon dollars what would happen if we have another storm like that one, and another, and another, and another....
i mean prices of fuel have jumped to record high all over the world as result of one storm, how bad can it get really?
just this simple analysis would tell me that in a year or two of such hammering economy of the entire world could collapse.
