  we have not seen you for quite some time and the end (of jwd) is very close indeed.

  Russell Not a Mason!

  this is some research i did showing that russell, was not, in fact a freemason (aka mason).

  Even if he may or may not have been a Free Mason what is wrong with that, I was a Free Mason for many years they are a great brother hood, so what, if they use strange symbols and hand shakes, they don't hurt anyone if everyone were Mason's it would be a more nicer world.

  Did you ever do "rooming" work before a convention?

  truthseeker's topic on the recommended lodging list, and some of the experiences people have had, made me remember the rooming work we did before a convention that was held in our city many years ago.

  we actually went door to door asking people if they had rooms they would be willing to let visiting witnesses stay in.

  i don't remember anyone telling me, "yes," but i know there were people who signed up rooms.

  i've recently had an issue come to my attention that causes me some concern.

  i've lived in the same neighborhood in north jax for almost 15 years.

  Goodbye to JWD ... hello to JWN !

  as i announced some time ago, jwd as it is will not continue .... ... but .... it's clear from people's comments that they do like the site and many would like it or something else like it to continue.. one issue was the forum software that was self-developed and not really in a good state to hand-over to anyone but i've been working on that and can now reveal the first release of what will probably be called jwn (son of jwd):.

  it is still work-in-progress so not all features are enabled yet but it will allow you to browse the site in a similar way to this one and it is pointing at the same database (although because of the way the caching works, new posts made on this site won't appear immediately).

  Simon, please make this new site so I can copy and past from MS Word, in this way I can make sure of my spelling and such.

  Oh and I never did read the reason why you are closing up shop, is it for personal reasons?

  i was struck by a quote in a very recent watchtower claiming that wts publications are now part of the bible.

  quite a bold statement.. how about these two quotes beside each other:.

  we would not refuse to treat one as a brother because he did not believe the society is the lord's channel.
