by Eyebrow2 inabout two weeks after the first set of brothers came, a new set from the local hall came by again this past saturday morning.. (the first visit...if you are interested.

Study gone bad
by galaxy7 ini had my bible study today, it was about demons,anyway the sister said that those shows on tv.
against jws are instigated by demons.. i told her about silent lambs and that it was true and had nothing to do with demons.
unless it was the molesting demon elders she was refering to.

Abusing human fears and emotions
by dustyb inok, this sounds kinda stupid, but i've been thinking of it all night long at work.
almost every government and every organization that has used sheer fear to move the emotions of its followers has fell.
and well, people can only be scared and afraid for so long before they either break down into a mental illness, or walk away and say f**k it all.. me and my g/f had a little talk today.

If the JW leadership is all about the money, what do they want it for?
by True North inin the brief time that i've been reading jw-related postings and sites on the net, i've seen a lot of stuff regarding the jw leadership being all about the money with the implication that there is something unsavory about their acquisitiveness.. if that is true, what exactly do they want it for?
from what i've read, the gb seem to live reasonably well (better, in fact, than the average jw would expect, i think) but it hardly seems anything that would have earned them a spot on lifestyles of the rich and famous.
so, why would they be so concerned about amassing organizational wealth?
