The Watchtower Society will do anything, anything to try to cloud things and hide themselves better......... too late for you though, oh, thou daughter of Babylon the Great. You had plenty of forewarnings and chose to ignore them all...... In one hour will you be cast down.

A Question For Bill Bowen
by anid1 inhi, i just have a quick question.
on another board a girl stepped forward and said that her story will be airing on dateline.
she said that you had uncovered her story of her husband abusing someone and it being hid by the wt.. now, i can't go into all the details because it would make this post very long but i just have a feeling this is a jehovah's witness trying to make this look like a farce because her story changes like you wouldn't believe.

These WTS heads are real bullies. Years ago JWs could even read the books that former JWs wrote. That freedom though was taken away. Merely reading a dissenting work now also brands you an apostate. THEY are they apostates. Men who stoop to hide pedophilia are the lowest. They are all little Leo Greenlees-type Governing Body pedophiles by virtue of their coverup and allowing pedophile to go door-to-door, endangering everybody's children. Up with Jehovah, down with the Watchtower pedophiles, including those sitting in Brooklyn.
Did we all notice the so-called "airmail special" from the Watchtower Society questioning not just Bill's desire to get this wrong righted, but that of us all?! Yes, I know you did. Things are going to come out from other Kingdom Hall elders all over this land, the United States, and all over this planet. Let 'er rock!
BTW, why don't some of you in exJW Support Groups and who know other exJWs and Friends, car pool and get to Bill's conference? Maybe we need to start a thread just for that? A thread called something like: CAR POOLS FOR SILENTLAMBS CONFERENCE/VIGIL

WATCHTOWER LEADERS OVER JW'S ATTACK CHILD ABUSE CRITICS:
Jehovah's Witnesses act against abuse-policy critics
By Peter Smith
psmith @courier-journal.com
The Courier-JournalLeaders of the Jehovah's Witnesses are taking steps to excommunicate a Western Kentucky man and three other church members who have publicly criticized what they say is their church's secretive handling of child-molestation cases.
Bill Bowen of Benton, Ky., said he was summoned to a judicial hearing to be held Friday at his Draffenville, Ky., church to answer allegations of ''causing divisions within the congregation and organization of Jehovah's Witnesses.''
Bowen resigned as an elder in the Marshall County congregation in December 2000
to protest the church's handling of a local case and its policies on handling abuse allegations. He has since formed a support group for abuse victims.
Bowen figured prominently in a CourierJournal report in February 2001 on sexualabuse issues among Jehovah's Witnesses, as did a New Jersey couple who also say they are threatened with excommunication, Carl and Barbara Pandelo.
A former employee at church headquarters, Barbara Anderson of Normandy, Tenn., said she also faces excommunication. The Jehovah's Witnesses Office of Public Information declined to comment specifically on the four cases, citing confidentiality policies. The Courier-Journal report cited court cases in several states in which Jehovah's Witnesses officials were accused of keeping secret the allegations of abuse by their elders or members in two cases, allegedly in violation of state law. Leaders of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, as the organization is formally known, have disputed these claims, saying they obey all laws requiring the reporting of child abuse and do not interfere with police investigations.
They say that in states that do not require reporting of abuse, they prefer taking steps to protect children while not breaching what they see as confidential communications between elders and members.Church officials say they might advise elders to move victims out of abusive homes or refer them to counseling. Bowen said he believes the action is being taken to deter Jehovah's Witnesses from listening to him, the Pandelos and Anderson in news reports or on the Web site of his ''silentlambs'' organization (www.silentlambs.org). He said church members who listen to the words of ''apostates,'' or those who abandon the faith, are at risk of excommunication themselves. Bowen said he has asked that his hearing be postponed from Friday because of plans for minor surgery. In its statement, the Jehovah's Witnesses Office of Public Information quoted biblical references in saying elders must use church discipline to ''shepherd the flock of God in their care.'' ''In fact, they are required by the Holy Scriptures to see to it that the congregation remains clean and unified,'' the statement said. ''No hasty decision is made in this process.'' The goal is not to expel a member, but to follow the Apostle Paul's injunction to ''try to readjust such a man in a spirit of mildness,'' the statement said.
The Pandelos, of Belmar, N.J., were summoned to a hearing Monday night at their local congregation concerning unspecified ''allegations of apostasy,'' according to a April 19 letter on Watchtower stationery. Carl Pandelo said he and his wife stayed only five minutes, long enough to deliver letters of protest to the chairman of the disciplinary committee. They have not received a reply. ''It's not like we didn't expect it,'' he said. ''You're not allowed to talk against the church in any way.'' The pandelos, who no longer attend Jehovah's Witnesses services, have told The Courier-Journal that after Carl's father, Clement Pandelo, molested their daughter, the congregation acted more sympathetically to the molester than to his victim. Elders did tell Clement Pandelo to turn himself in to police, and he pleaded guilty in 1989 to molesting three girls after admitting molesting children for 40 years.
An elder with the congregation told The Courier-Journal that church leaders did the best they could to mediate the situation.Anderson said she has not seen the charges against her in writing but that her husband, an elder at a Manchester, Tenn., congregation, was told she was accused of ''causing divisions.'' ''I categorically deny any of this,'' said Anderson, a former employee at Watchtower headquarters in Brooklyn, N.Y., where she said she first learned about the church's policies on handling abuse cases.
In the past year, two more lawsuits have been filed against Watchtower in New Hampshire and Washington state, accusing local church elders of failing to follow state laws on reporting suspected abuse to police. In both cases, church members were convicted of sexual abuse. One suit filed in January by Erica Rodriguez, who said she was repeatedly abused by a church member years ago, claims an elder at her former congregation in Washington state threatened her with excommunication if she reported her abuser to police.A Watchtower statement denies this, saying that there are no sanctions against anyone who chooses to go to police, and that church elders and Watchtower did not know of the abuse until years after it had occurred. In New Hampshire, two women are suing Watchtower, alleging elders failed to report suspicions of abuse. Their father was later convicted and sentenced to 56 years in prison for abuse. Jehovah's Witnesses, founded in the 19th century, number about 1 million members in the United States and 6 million globally. Best known for its door-to-door evangelism, the church views its teachings as authentic Christianity, though it parts company with other Christian bodies on some fundamental beliefs. Like some other close-knit religious organizations, Jehovah's Witnesses practice church discipline within their congregations and sometimes ''disfellowship,'' or excommunicate, members who are believed to persist in their errors.
A PROJECT NEVER TO FORGET: "SAVE MY DAUGHTER" This could save your own daughter's life too. A friend in Calgary, Canada, who is called "Shunned Father" by court order, now has legal bills run over $80,000 from battling the Watchtower Society's attorneys to keep his Jehovah's Witness daughter alive by getting her needed emergency blood transfusions as treatment for brain cancer.
To confirm that this is a legitimate request, not some scam see the link at the end, then once convinced make a check out to Save My Daughter and email it to Shunned Father, P.O. Box 20161, Calgary Place R.P.O., Calgary, T2P 4J2. That link is http://www.canada.com/calgary/story.asp?id={A513F890-797C-465D-9FD8-90EBBAE6BDCF} Again, let's remember, today's it's his daughter, tomorrow it may our own daughter or grandchild!

Help - Trip this Weekend
by dobby inmy husband and i are visiting really good jw friends this weekend.. a little less than a year ago we moved to another state and have since become inactive and have decided that by end of this year we will probably be completely out, no matter the consequences.. we are not afraid of dfing, but i am just not sure how to broach or not broach the subject of our transformation with these friends.
i really like them, when we had trouble a few years back with elders and were "marked" they were the only ones who stood by us.. i think they are going to be really shocked.
i mean, we plan to go to an amusement park on saturday, but the husband may meet us there after he goes out in service (just makes you want to shake your head).

Ask them if they don't agree it's terrible when groups cover up child molestation and have secret ties to the United Nations. Then say nothing at all but wait until the Silent Lambs coverup hits Dateline and call them. Or tell them then and there what you've learned and that articles in New York and London newspapers back every word of it. If you can, add that your own friendship or love is not conditionally tied like a string to an organization but is open to them even if they decide to go along with shunning of you.

Yes, and after they disfellowship you take it to the local newspaper as part of a letter-to-the-editor in which you mention that the elders don't like things like the fact that they, the elders, hide child molestation as directed by the Watchtower Society to come out of the closet. Letters-to-the-editor need to be only 1-2 paragraphs long, so greatly condense things. I'd include the toll-free 1-877-WTS-ABUSE number of silentlambs.org.

Does the society have deeper darker secrets?
by sleepy inof course were all so familiar with the way the society covers up it tracks and it has taken a lot of work to expose its coruption.. but are there more sinister discoveries awaiting?.
why is the society so keen to cover up peadophilia in the organisation?.
does it reach higher than we are presently aware?.

Exiting Counselors and others should query exiting JWs and others exiting other cults for anecdotes indicating usage we believe to be increasing by fanatical members (who fear exiting members will report their hiding of child molestation to the authorities and media etc) of the following:
(1) electronic surveillance (wiretapping, hook-switch bypass, infinity mikes etc) and
(2) harassment via FM sound and voice transmitters.
Further, ex-members who believe they were or are targeted for such spying and harassment should be encouraged to have their homes checked for such items.
Anecdotes about usage of such items have floated around for decades. Occasionally people mention that their home has become "demonized," which is what the cults into such things like people to believe to drive them away or back into the their kingdoms.
So the invasion of privacy is a major issue. Besides widespread reporting of it which would help prove a pattern of such abuses, as the physical evidence is found for it, it needs to receive the widest possible publicity.

Who Told The First Lie: God or the Devil?
by Dutchie ingen 2:17 - god says: eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad and you will absolutely die!.

Adam died within one YOHM, Hebrew for day (24 hrs) or an indefinite period of time as when in English we speak of "in Granddad's day" and "in the day of the dinosaurs." God did not lie. You and others who repeat the misinformation unfortunately do lie or, more neutrally, "mis-speak" in saying that He did. But because it is hopefully out of ignorance on your part and those who mistaught you, God may well forgive it even as He has so many other untruths. His Way is love.

The Connection between Elders and the GB
by Jourles inif you darn apostates would keep up with the latest rags and attend the meetings against your will, you would see for yourself the direct link between the governing body and the appointment of elders.. in the last study of the march 15, 2002 watchtower, page 14 paragraph 7 gives you the damning evidence that you have been looking for.. ...our leader uses this governing body to appoint qualified men--whether spirit-anointed or not--as elders in the local congregations...the recommendations and appointments are made after prayer and under the guidance of the holy spirit.
additionally, the individuals appointed give evidence of producing the fruitage of that spirit...these appointed men receive direction from the governing body and willingly shepherd the congregation.
in this way, christ is with us now and is actively leading the congregation.. can the italicized portion above be any clearer?
-
anewperson
They admit the elders "receive direction" and the phrase "receive direction" is not detailed. However the so-called Christian Congregation of JW (and other fronting corporations) is directly involved in disciplining etc of elders, and it in turn was appointed by whom other than the Governing Body. Thus the Watchtower Society's Governing Body is legally culpable for the misdeeds of its own priest class, the elders, including acts of pedophilia, the hiding of pedophilia and the abetting of pedophilia by allowing pedophiles to go door-to-door in every nation of the earth. Babylon is falling down, falling down. Babylon is falling down, and look who she really i-ssssssssss!
