I have heard for many years that Jehovah God has a "duel" personality. One is good and the other is evil. I don't believe this but sometimes I wonder maybe my atheist dad has some good points. My dad has for years told me that Jehovah allows people to suffer because he enjoys watching people in misery. He believes that Jehovah could put a stop to all of the suffering mankind has gone through but he does absolutely nothing. He feels that Jehovah is up there laughing at all those so-called religious people making fools of themselves trying to serve a God that just does not care about them. Many first century christians were slaughtered by lions in the collesium and Jehovah allowed it. Was this his "bad" personality allowing it to happen. I know this sounds crazy for my dad to say this but he is a "devout" atheist/agnostic and he has no shame in "bashing" Jehovah. To me it is "blasphemous" to insult Jehovah but my father tells me that Jehovah deserves to be put down because he is not different than Satan the Devil. Posters what do you think about this topic?

How long is Armaggeddon suppose to last? Is it going to last many years?

i know the bible does not say specifically but if you were to guess what would you guess on the amount of time for armaggeddon to last?

Do JW's believe that in the 1000 yr reign Jesus and the 144,000 will kill?
by booker-t ini have always been abit confused on this topic when i was a jw.
during the 1000 year reign do jw's believe that some will be killed by jesus and the 144,000 if they refuse to accept the jw's teaching during the 1000 year reign?
what if somebody is reserrected during the millieum and just don't wont to study with the survivors of the great tribulation will they be killed instantly or will they have a 1000 years to make up their minds?

My friend thinks that JW's will not collapse and will probably get "stronger" with time. I hope not because I am just sick of the whole WTS and JW's religion. My hats off to anyone that wants to worship in their beliefs but I just have a problem with any group of people that tells you "My way or the highway". What do you think posters will JW's be a memory in the history books of tomorrow or will they still be knocking on our great-great-great grandkids doors telling them that Armaggeddon is set for the year 2120?

Honesty I totally agree with you when you state that God does not force anything upon us. But when you are dealing with Born-Again Christian churches that think they have the monopoly on the truth then it does not have to do with God at all. The church is telling members that they are going straight to hell for not accepting the Trinity, Hellfire doctrines. Any born-again christian that tell me that they don't believe a person does not have to accept the trinity, hellfire doctrine in order to get to heaven then I would "lick their boots" because I know from person experiece 12 years going to the baptist church, pentacostal church, church of christ(they are the worst) lutheran church, fred price's church, holiness church, etc; they all teach trinity, hellfire. So I know that would be a lie if a born-again came up to me and claimed "we don't believe that"

Now why would Jehovah allow Satan to torture Job, kill his ten kids, cause him to lose everything to prove what? If Jehovah God sees the future then this would have been just a game to him since he knew what the outcome would be. Was he and Satan just up there in heaven laughing at poor Job? Another example Pam brought up was Adam and Eve. If Jehovah God knew for all eternity that Adam and Eve would disobey him then creating them to fall to the Devil was almost as if Jehovah God allowed Satan to receive some kind of worship. So was Jehovah God sharing his Almightiness with Satan by creating Adam and Eve? Pam brought up another point when Jehovah got mad at Pharaoh and hardened his heart did Jehovah give Pharaoh over to Satan as a "pawn" no longer wanting to deal with him? Pam also used the analogy about A loving parent alowing a Child Molester to do anything that the molester wanted to the child but just don't kill the child. Jehovah told Satan to do "anything" he wanted to do with Job but don't kill him. I am beginning to wonder if my friend Pam is right and we are just pawns in a chess game played by Jehovah and Satan and we are being laughed at from heaven by the two.

First it makes Almighty God to be a "Hitler" trying to make everybody on the same mind. Hitler wanted a "pure" race and anybody that did not fit into that catergory was considered unworthy of living and was put to death. Born-Again Christians have the same mindset in that they "refuse" to accept anybody else's belief system and has sent all non-BAC's to a fiery Hell for all eternity. People that find trouble accepting a "fiery hell" are labeled "heathens" "heretics" "not christians" "man of lawlessness" and so on. When asked by their followers of how a God of love can torture people in a fiery hell? Many born-agains will generally answer God disciplines those that disobey him". But the general question comes to mind of any loving parent is Would a loving parent discipline their child by putting their hand in a fire over the stove for disobedience? Many born-again christians that I have talked to said "that would be evil to do your own child like that" But the born-again just cannot see the anaology when it is applied to Jehovah and the Hell fire doctrine. They are quick to point out that a "loving" Jehovah God "burned" Sodom and Gommorrah and destroyed the world with a flood in which many babies died. They have sarcastically asked me the same question "Would a loving parent "drown"their baby for disobedience? I must admit this is a good counter argument that Hell-fire advocates bring up. I know I would not drown my baby for disobeying me. But I always answer them with Jehovah wants us to serve him out of love not fear. If we serve Jehovah out of fear than that is not true "worship" but coercion. With the Hell-fire/die at Armaggeddon threat people are really just robots. I am just sick and tired of the "Trinity"doctrine being shoved down my throat everytime I attend a Christian Church or Christian gathering. I am sick and tired of the "Hell-fire" doctrine being shoved down my throat everytime I go to a Christian Church. I am sick and tired of we are the only ones that are "saved" everytime I go to a Christian Church. I have been to many so before posters out there start telling me to go to another church or "my church is not like that" believe me I have been to more Christian Churches since I left the JW's then most Christians have been to. And I would say 95% if not more all force the "Trinity, Hellfire, we alone are true christians, down my throat and I am just sick of it. I love Jehovah, Jesus and the Bible but I am really considering never stepping foot into another religious organization from here on now.

What is the quickest time frame that a Reinstated JW's got DF'd again?
by booker-t inmy co worker tammy(not her real name) was disfellowshipped twice once in 2002 and again in 2005. she was reinstated for a second time in jan 2006 but i recently found out from her that she is having an "affair" with a non jw's man at our job.
tammy wants to go to the elders but she is afraid that they will df'd her for the 3rd time.
i been talking to her telling her not to go to the elders but she keeps telling me that she feels so guilty and that she does not want to get destroyed by jehovah at armaggeddon.

So she called the elders the other day to "confess" her sins. I was wondering if she just got reinstated 5 months ago can they re-disfellowship her? Isn't there a time frame that the elders got to go by? I don't know what else to tell Tammy she is such a nice girl and we get along great at work even though she knows I am DA'd.

he is very knowlegable about the other countries in the world but he always seem to make negative statements about blacks, hispanics, asians and native americans.

I am in a dilema at school that I need some feedback on. My Geography professor is a young Caucasian man in his mid 30's. He is very knowlegable about the other countries in the world but he always seem to make negative statements about blacks, hispanics, asians and native americans. At first I kind of dismissed it and figured he would eventually stop but it seems that it is getting worse and I feel that I might have to go to his supervisor the Dean of the History Dept. I would hate for a teacher to lose their jobs because I have so much respect for all teachers in the world but I just can't stand the racist remarks any longer. The problem is if I go to the Dean the first thing they will say is that I am a "overly-sensitive" black person that cannot stand to hear the truth. This is far from the truth. I am the first person in the world to correct black people from living up to negative stereotypes. I am constantly getting on my nephew for wearing his pants hung down with his underwear showing. I think this does a "disservce" to young African American and Hispanic males when they are trying to apply for a job. So I can take criticism when it is deserved. But my professor will put down blacks and say that blacks are responsible for the Aids crises, and put down Hispanic women by saying they are ruining the economy with having all of those "babies" and being on "welfare" and he talks about Native Americans being "Alcoholics" and talks about Asian men with their ponytails. But I never hear him putting down white people. It is a known fact that "more" Caucasians are on welfare then any other race. I used to work in a Welfare office and it is just amazing how many white people get food stamps. As for the Aids crises when Aids first came out it was believed to be a "gay white man's" disease. Then lo and behold it is now labeled a "black" problem. Socialogist have said over and over that more crimes against white people are by other white people. Such as rape. So there goes the myth that white women are being raped by black men. I have hardly ever seen an Asian man wear a ponytail like I always see white men wearing ponytails. All in all I think my college professor is Archie Bunker reincarnated. Believe it or not I went to him the other day to confront him and he threw me a looper. He told me that his ex-fiance was a Black girl. So am I being overly-sensitive about him or not? I would hate to cause this man to lose his job. Posters what do you think should I go to the Dean or not?
