List of family/friends lost to the Watchtower cult? (suicides)
by hubert inafter reading about puternuts (ari) suicide, and also reading about sabine and js losing their daughter to this cult, i think it would be a fitting memorial, so to speak, to write a list of all the people we know who died because of this cult.
i also know that cruzanheart lost her dad to it, too.
i'm sure there are many here that can make a list of suicides brought on by the shunning/threatening policies of the watchtower cult.

how logical is this hope that leads people to entrust the watchtower with their time, energy and worldly possessions?

Seems to me that Satan told Eve she would surly never die. Do "born-again christians"believe that the Pope went to heaven or hell?
by booker-t ini ask this question because i know alot of "born-agains"that do not like roman catholics and feel that they worship mary and will not make it to heaven.
my friend that is a devout catholic has told me many horror stories of christians sending pamphlets to catholic churches telling them that they will burn in hell.
i was igronant of the anti-catholic hatred that is taught in many born-again christian churches.

I think the Pope was more christlike than born agains because he taught religious tolerance and respect of all those with spirituality. I saw a news footage today of him appologizing for any uchristian behavior towards others that Catholics have done in th past. Can you picture the G B doing anything like that?? They wouldn't even make an apology for unchristian acts to thier own flocks, let alone making a public appolgy to the nations. All the years I was a JW I was never aware of his role in the fall of communism.

In the congregation there was a pedophile with many victims who was protected by his nephew and brother in law and other interrelated elders. Incest was being covered up by them even though many of the victims were little girls in the family. It was a matter of hiding the secret to protect the family name not Jehovah's name. Even one of the Son's of the pervert covered for his father the pedophile and turned on other family members who tried to expose what he had done. This was all because of spiritual incest from nepotism that led to the cover up of true incest in the congregation.

The most outstanding mark of true Christians according to John 13:34, 35 is that they have real love among themselves. They are not taught to think that they are better than people of other races or skin color. They aren't taught to hate people from other countries. So they do not share in wars.
Some "love" . They take some from among themselves and practice hate by shunning and not forgiving. Hate and intolerance is their mark. They do not share in wars to defend the freedom in this country that they enjoy and use the courts for their "rights" of religious freedom. They are damned lucky that their are those who layed down their lives to fight for the freedom JW's enjoy. Doesn 'the bible say no man has greater love than to lay down his life for his fellow man.?? A soldier is noble for that.The children of Jehovah' Witnesses are safe in school and in thier homes because young men are willing to defend our homeland against evil men who would kill them because of thier own religious belief against the indfidels.

It seems that they have issues they are acting out and using the religion as an excuse for thier disfuntional treatment of you. There is no reason on earth why a parent should treat their own child so hatefully excep that there is something lacking in thier own personality and way of parenting, and having disfunctional behavior displayed by using twisted reasoning of their religious interperatation of how to behave toward you.
