  When people go on vacation they want a total escape from daily routines so for one or two weeks they should be left in peace even by jehovah.
  
  
  When I was going on vacations as a dub I would totally forget all about them and enjoy the change.

  Russell also did something very naughty when he used his printing business to publish the book written by a spiritistic medium. In that book all sayings were inspired in her by a demon. Can you imagine that! The sleezy excuse was that the demon in question was a repentant one.What a joke.
  
  In addition he was using masonic symbols. Even after his death he wanted these by his grave, and the cross is part of them.
  
  In Rutherford's time they were using ouija bords quite extensively in Bethel.
  
  That's why it is almost certain that this org is under a lot of occult masonic and demonic influences behind the scenes.

  A JW childhood friend tragically died

  i just found out about this last month from a police officer in the county just north of me in tennessee, i was hoping it wasnt true, but my brother darin confirmed it the other day.

  a childhood friend from ohio who had moved to tennessee had died last year in a 4-wheeling accident.

  steve burkholder was his name and he was about 6 months older than me.

  i have, and i honestly don't seem to be getting the repercussions across.

  my parents and siblings are not witnesses, so when i told them about the jc letter arriving, they just shrug their shoulders and say "so what?

  What outsiders will find very strange is that they go by a secret book (with unknown to the public rules) when they judge people. Nobody knows how exactly they reach their decisions and no explanations are given.
  
  In addition they don't give a toss for people having emotional problems when they have to be judged. Some suicides could result.

  at ephesians 4:5 reference is made to 'one faith'.

  does this mean the faith of one religion or denomination or does it mean all united in one faith, that is faith in jesus christ as lord and savior regardless of the denomination or religion?

  Obviously Paul meant the gospel or good news he was preaching, Christ as the resurrected Messiah, freedom and eternal life through him, the end of the mosaic law despite what the judaizers were saying.

  JW terminology really gets my goat

  i don't know if its just me or if anyone else feels the same but it really annoys me when jehovahs witnesses use their terminology when speaking to a non jw.. for example, a jw woman is talking to a collegue who has never had a bible study and knows nothing about jws.. instead of saying "i have a friend coming for tea tonight" the woman says " one of the sisters is coming for tea tonight".. or, instead of "i was talking to a friend on the phone last night" she says "i was talking to an elder on the phone last night".. it just really winds me up, i think they do it to seem important and mysterious but it only leaves the other person confused.

  this is a true story although it happened many years ago.

  in the early 1960's, the wife of our po (then called congregation servant) studied with a very sweet old lady in her eighties.

  this lady loved her bible and truly loved god.

  It's hard to believe that they would disfellowship someone for this reason, they were using Greber a spiritistic medium to help them make their NWT translation and that's really wrong.

  you who are at bethel please do what ever you can to see that all the governing body get psychiatric help.

  please do them the favor,,they are just caught in a trap thinking they are "really" god's spokeperson.

  don't fall victim to these crazy person but make sure they get help.

  Elders wont answer my questions

  well i had written up 30 or so questions for the elders.

  i made it very easy.

  ther were mostly simple questions with yes or no answers.

  They've always been good at dodging questions they can't answer, the GB gives the good example for all to follow they never come out to discuss openly questions with doubters.
  
  They do answer questions from readers but then they can pick and choose and all the awkward ones go in the waste bin.

  what do you think would happen if someone where to have a bible study with the sole purpose of asking lots of awkward questions just to get the reaction of the witnesses?

  They would soon realise that the person is too aware of things, can't be fooled and they would find an excuse to stop the study. They can only thrive in deceiving and programing minds where there is ignorance about religious matters.
