But do they, the WTS, ever help their own people that are in need particularly those that loyally served this org for decades. Do they have the common decency to offer at least a small pension to those that spent their entire lives as full time preachers promoting their interests?
I have the impression that the WTS deeply loaths the whole concept of charity something to be expected from an org that projects itself as a religion but has in fact a big business mentality. Giving seems to go too much against their gain... I mean grain.

Do JWs ever use their donations/WT profits to help the less-fortunate?
by sonnyboy ini was a jw for a number of years as a kid, but i don't remember them doing anything to help the community.
many churches in my area have soup kitchens, clothing/toy drives, and other services to help people in need.
do jehovah's witnesses ever use proceeds in this way, or are they all used to make more watchtowers, books, and kingdom halls?

there are so many i probably missed a few--i was in this nonsense for 32 years and i half way believed it--but i never believed it 100 percent--thank god for ray franz---that guy was all class--i am at a point now that i dont know what to believe--but i know one thing--:"never again will i fear men----never again will i be a respector of men---i have seen all this little so called power grab called privleges--that is just a ticket for a man to walk around like a rooster---you all know how a rooster walks around the yard--when i used to get there on thursday night all 8 elders would be walking around shuffling paper like they do at the pentagon or the cia---a congreation of about 70 and all this paper work--or was it all a showy display?it was a peivlege to clean the toilets--can you imagine that?
i used to go to clean the hall and it didnt even need cleaning--but one had to act like he was doing something--i used to hate getting dressed up for those 5 meetings--i now wear anything i want--i let my hair grow anyway i want--if i want a beard i grow it--no more fear of those big elders--those elders loved judical comittes--it meant they could now be like a lawyer and a judge--power- power--thats what its all about--thanks for letting me share--the hag

Establishing such dates is in itself unwise since it means trying to know the unknowable all christian religions expect the second coming of Christ but only the JWs thought they were smart enough to pinpoint dates, that was some arrogance when also considering that they had no theological education, they were just amateurs meddling in religious matters.
However it is smart in that they managed to set up a multi billion dollar business on this basis and gain overwhelming controlling influence over the lives of millions.
At the end of the day it is all about power and that's why there is no christian love among them since where the will to power predominates love vanishes. -

I' ve never heard anyone make fun of/despise red heads any more than blonds, to the contrary being far more rare women with fiery red hair could have an advantage especially if they have these in certain private regions.

It was grim trying to argue with people about things that you did't really believe in and while knowing that they were in the right, example blood transfusion ban the WTS record of false prophesies emotionally it took its toll, that's why after a year I suddenly dropped all fs activity.

by booker-t ini was recently talking to a girl in my psychology class who told me that she use to be a jw and was df'd in the mid 1990's.
this girl shocked me because usually ex-jws are so unhappy and miserable and spend most of their time complaining about the "evil" wt society.
she told me that when she was df'd alot of ex-jws swarmed towards her trying to get her to "bash" the wt but she refused.

People hotly resent the fact that in the org they were not allowed to have a voice and they compensate for it by airing their ideas and feelings here. Getting cut off from the right to speak your mind is frustrating.
The other point is if the JW leaders want they can always come here and defend their positions we don't follow their example of suppressing free debate. -

I also agree that we should inform and educate people about the Watchtower society and what they are really up to, to help minimise the future victims and also assist those that want to get out.
Also I believe they will keep blasting you with negative energies and lock you into battle whether you want this or not. -

Yes, it's not a question of being more or less intelligent women are as intelligent but they prefer to use a feeling attitute, note that virtually all scientific discoveries were made by men. Women are more in touch with the inner world and men with the outer world the two are complementary in their natures.
These are differences written in the genes and not conditioned by society as some claim. -
