Biblically there aren't two classes of Christians as the JWs claim but there is only one faith, one Lord and one body or Church. All Christians should be part of the New Covenant and adopted by God through the Holy Spirit so as to be sons and inheritors rather than servants as were the Jews under the Mosaic Covenant. Otherwise there is no salvation possible.
The JW separation of Christians into two classes one superior to the other is a crude, way out cultic deception based on the gross misinterpretation of a couple of verses, the other sheep who are in fact the gentile Christians as opposed to the Jewish ones and the Great Crowd who are in fact another way of presenting the members of the one and only Christian church and not some supposedly inferior christians.

Many will realise it just like many people on this forum and millions of others did and leave the cult, others will realise it but stay in because their interests are better served by being there.
Yet others are too naive to realise anything, there is an incredible number of such people in every society. Even though there are many obvious flaws in the JW organisation, doctrine and history. -

Self Deceit and Faith.
by hillary_step inthis thread is inspired by a comment made on another thread, but i thought it would make an interesting discussion.. self deceit is described as a "misconception that is favorable to the person who holds it".
my premise is that faith is a form of self-deceit - lying to oneself.. so, i would ask of the "faithful" the following questions and would request that they be read carefully to ensure no that there is no misunderstanding of purpose.. 1) in what way is faith not self-deception?.
2) is a person who has faith in a god that you do not believe in, say for example siva, practicing a form of self-deception?.

The human brain is not a closed system but open to the cosmos and through the process of telepathy or thought transference it can communicate with other humans and what's more it can communicate with God and the Angels both benign and evil ones. There is a constant exchange of mental energies through this "wireless" process of which man is a participant.
When the faithful claim they experience the existence of God or benign angels it is through this process that they do so. Also very well known are the wilful contacts of humans with evil spirits that invariably lead to them having serious mental problems and pitiful emotional degradations. Though negative in nature and not to be wished for anyone at least this type of human/angelic interaction shows the existence of invisible intelligent creatures.
Jesus said something that is at the opposite pole of what the evolutionists say: rather than man being totally alone and isolated in the cosmos, man can not do anything unless it is given to him from above. -

Why all the changes?????
by seek2find inin my life time as a witness, there have been many changes and there are still more to come.
like the "generation" change in the feb study edition of the wt.
my question is this.

To put it in a nutshell the WTS was created solely for making money and not out of any concern for the spiritual well being of the world, of its members. This is the fact that underlines their every doctrine. Basically a business operating under the guise of religion, no wonder its doctrines have to be constantly revised and altered beyond recognition. They are not really into religion they are into business.

Key JW phrases not found in the bible
by Abandoned inthe jw have so many phrases that are not found in the bible but that they spout as though they were deathly important.
you have to keep up with present truth.
i always hated that saying.. can you think of any?

The whole concept of paradise ON EARTH which is so central to the JW perspective and aspirations does not exist in the Bible, for all we know resurrected humans will not eat or drink or have sex (get married) and the destiny of all Christians is heaven ward, the heavenly city of God that the Old Testament faithful also aspired to.

Is There Something Specific That U Regret Not Doing Because You Were A JW?
by minimus indid you want to belong to a social club but couldn't because it was "worldly" and witnesses don't get involved with the world?.
did you not go to college simply because witnesses say it's bad?.
did you deprive your kids of things because you were a "good jw"?.

Wasting time in a cult rather than joining and interacting with a serious mainstream Christian religion with a normal outlike on human existence and God. The JWs had a totally cultic and warped understanding of the proper relationship between God and man, Lord and slave rather than Father and child.

Last Days per WBTS
by bobld ini did not want to start a new topic but i didn't know where to put it.the wbts says we are living in the last days because god has allowed mankind enough time to prove he can't rule himself,jer.10:23.the wbts was changed their mind on blood by allowing the use of fractions due to advances in medical technology.well you say what has that got to do with the last days.what about the advances in the human genome.if man is given enough time maybe he can fine the defective gene that god put in the first humans.they can fine a cure and correct it.then man can live forever.if god ends this system now,he did not give science a chance.the wbts should not put the blame on faulty gov't, for all the bad things in the world.like i said science is in the first nonosecond of research in the human genome.god has to give them at least 1 billion years.after that he can do what he wants.. bob.

Correct, there is no rationality in banning whole blood but not parts and indeed substantial parts of it. And what will say the relatives of those that died by being prevented to use blood fractions further back in time when they were banned? It has to be ritual murder.

That is the crux of the matter, the truth does not change therefore they don't have the truth since they keep changing so many parts of it, of what they claim is the truth.
That God can not or is not willing to give them the truth once and for all so that they won't have to go for ever round and round in circles is something like a bad joke. Very obviously God has not appointed them to any religious capacity let alone an elite one and he is not guiding them in anything, they are simply decadent, way out, imposters pretending to be something they are not in order to ensnare their victims. -

A Christian sees a lot of positive things in what he believes to be the creation of God, despite a superficial similarity man is a world apart from animals with the ability to stand upright, speak, have a unique individual face and voice, think, reason, create, and have spiritual aspirations.
Why would evolution bestow on man all these things that are superfluous to survival plus delicious food, sex, the ability to understand, compose and enjoy music, breathtaking scenery, and the art of nature such as the beautiful colours/shapes of butterflies and flowers?
A Christian would also say that since the gospel went out man has the option to escape from his misery but is not taking it. -

Thanks to the Allied Armies of WW2
by edmond dantes indon't get me wrong i am not slighting the incarceration of j. witnesses in the concentration camps but i recently read an article in the wacktower about the suffering endured in the concentration camps.. thanks were profusely given to jehovah and for the fortitude of the brothers and sisters during that terrible time but glaringly not one word of thanks, not one word in recognition of what the allies sacrificed and did was mentioned .no mention at all of any soldier ,sailor or airman laying down their life to rescue the inmates of those hell holes.. do the governing body really believe that no thanks are called for on behalf of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice ?
how can anyone show respect for that crazy cult .do they really believe that jesus is going into battle on their side when they so disregard what others have done for them ?
according to their twisted logic god is going to destroy those veterans who are now old who way back when came to the rescue..

They are isolationists or at least that's how they want their R&F to feel, cut off from the world seeing absolutely nothing positive in them to maximise that sense of alienation precisely because that makes it difficult for them to leave the cult should they begin to have issues with it. It's psychological manipulation.
In reality more specifically those liberated by the Western allies have a lot of things to be grateful for, also given the immense tolerence of western democracies towards minority religious groups. A world apart from what a Nazi future would have held for them.
Strangely enough Eisenhower's parents were dubs.
