My fiancee and her family are coming up to spend the Holiday with me. So my house will be full of Russians, which should be an interesting experience. I plan to take them to see Fort Ross, here in Sonoma County. It was the first Russian settlement in California. And it will be nice to have someone who can read all the Russian inscriptions and translate for me. We will also have a Russian style Barbeque and plenty of Vodka.

Ex-elders: did you ever confront anyone on FAKE HOURS

a number of posters said they would never actually go in service, but still magically get in their hours each month.
my question to you ex-elders: did you ever confront someone on this?

No. In fact the subject of fake hours never came up at any of the elder's meetings that I attended. The CO never brought it up. In our congregation I think a lot of us padded our hours and there were probably some who handed in fake hours, but there was never any audits and nobody ever questioned a publisher's report card.

Last week I got a call from my ex-fiancee. I haven't seen the woman in 14 years and now she apologized for breaking up with me and wants us to get back together. I thanked her, but said that her leaving was the best thing that ever happened to me. And furthermore, I am seeing a beautiful Russian woman and we are planning to get married next year. Nevertheless, my ex still plans to move back to California. I wished her luck.

What Makes Some ExJWs So Angry & Others So Pleasant???

from what i can see, it appears that some exwitnesses are either handling life outside the organization pretty well or not well at all.
i wonder if some persons simply, by nature are angry, unhappy persons while others are naturally good, "honest-hearted ones" that simply want to find some measure of happiness.
