My cousin who is "on the fence" regarding the JW's unfriended me because she "didn't like what she saw" on my FB wall. I guess the Watchtower Uncensored page offended her. Boo hoo I say! Her whole family is in the JW's and she rejected the religion growing up but now that she's over 30 she's decided she's "going back" to them. However she's still got lots of non JW's friends but that's oh so much different since I'm DF'd. Not acceptable!

Things that were supposedly demonized
by freshstart ini was just thinking about all the fear i had when i was a kid that i would be attacked by demons if i wasn't careful.
i mean i lived in absolute terror over it, so i'm going to reminisce about the things i was told were demonized and you can add to the list if you'd like:.
lucky charms cerealcount dracula cerealitems bought at garage sales where there was a cross or anything religious present"hotel california" by the eagles (now one of my favorite songs)wwjd braceletsscooby dooi remember being so scared of every little noise that whenever i would turn off my light to go to bed, i would say "jehovah, jehovah!

Well I guess my uber elder cousin has decided it's okay for him and his elite witness family to attend. He's thought of
very highly so I'm sure no one would question his judgement on this issue. And the fact that he probably won't share
with other JW's that he went to an Episcopalian church is extremely likely too. He knows how to keep people at
arms length. Now how they treat me will be interesting since I've been df'd for 35 years. Can't wait to feel the
love (hate) of my JW family.

Wow that's really different than when I was in the religion. I think way back when you could get df'd for going into a church.
Even on vacation and just sightseeing! I asked my mother if it was allowed but of course she "didn't know" and deferred to my cousin
as usual. Very surprising to me that this is a personal conscience matter now. Well I guess I can look forward to seeing the
family that shuns me in a different church!

Recently a non witness family member passed away and there is a service being held in the local Episcopalian church and my
elder cousin and his family are planning on attending. I thought this wasn't allowed?

Yes I hate the society as well. I've been shunned for 35 years by my uber elder cousin and my mother and their kids. My cousin's middle daughter never was on board with the JW's until now, she just turned 31 and she occasionally goes to a meeting isn't baptised or anything but now she's shunning me too! Unbelievable! The family has dangled a carrot in front of her face regarding how nice it is to be a family and if you "come back" we can all do things together etc. I saw her last year and she was not on board and we were actually working on building a friendship but then all of a sudden something snapped and she's quit communicating with me. She always hated the JWs so I really dont' get it! GRRRRR! Oh and my mother has decided to give all of her estate to the Watchtower since she doesn't think I need the money for retirement. and she actually said ' well you won't get that old anyway" implying I'll be killed at Armaggedeon. Feel the love!!

Yes, recently my 81 year old mother had to play chaperone to a couple that was getting married, she was 39 and he was 60 something (he was looking for someone to do the laundry and cook I'm pretty sure) and my mom had to go around with them all day long while they took care of personal business. I couldn't believe it. Those people trust no one.

I love Belize! Plan on retiring there! I would recommend the beach town of Placencia to visit. Nice beaches, best food I've ever had in my life and the people are just awesome!! Don't go to Belize City, not a nice place!

GIVE more Money to the WTBTS
by RagingBull ina 5 min.
talk will be given from the kingdom ministry about "donating" more to the world wide preaching work.
remember the woman who gave 2 coins of little value?

Yes my mother is convinced that the WTBTS needs more money than I do in my old age. She doesn't car if I'm homeless or on welfare, the WTBTS comes first! I've tried to show her how much real estate they have and how much money they are worth and she just thinks I'm lying!! Nice! It's not like she has a ton of money or anything but most parents want what's best for their kids but not my mother! I told her as much but that doesn't matter to her. She's even said as much to me on several occasions since "I left Jehovah" I don't deserve anything. Ah the love these people promote!
