i read that according to an american study, jehovah's witnesses have the highest member turnover of any religion.why do you think this is?

why is it that although, compared with other religions, so many people are getting baptised yet a large chunk of members are also leaving the watchtower society?

is there something instrinsic to the society that makes it difficult to stay in?.

england is the oldest nation-state in europe.

it is a pround and historic nation that is often buried under a "british" identity by the uk government.

within the european unon, scotland and wales are treated as regional entities, yet england is broken up into 6 regions and is not acknowledged as an entity in itself.

what's the point of a manifesto?

it's all but forgotten after the election.. what happened to the manifesto promises that labourhave made in every election since tony blair first came into power in 1997?

My cousin is getting baptised today

my aunt sent me a text message last week informing me that my cousin would be getting baptised today.

she's 16 years old.

i kind of didn't know what to say, i knew the day would come when she'd have to take that step, but didn't expect it so soon.

Where do atheists' morals come from?

many theists believe that atheists have no morality at all.

they argue that because atheists dont believe in the laws, limitations and boundaries that god has set up for us, there's nothing stopping them from becoming violent, lying thieving sociopaths.

there have been many stories of people who have "found god" and changed their life, giving up drugs, repenting for past crimes.
