Everyone in BC ok?!?

just heard about the quake and possible tsunami warning.

i hope all you guys in bc are ok!!!

check in and let us know!.

From the news I'm hearing the quake epicentre was in a sparsely populated region of Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands). Most of the populated areas on the island are on the east side. So far it sounds like everyone in that area is okay. I'm in Alberta, so I'm a fair distance away. I don't know which part of BC Outlaw is in.

Haida Gwaii, however, is a place with historic and cultural significance, and a lot of the area on the west side is part of a national park and heritage site. Most of the residents are members of the Haida nation (Indian) and are close family groups. Reading about the tsunami has reminded me that Haida Gwaii is on my list of incredible and amazing places I hope to visit one day.

what are the JW rules once baptised??

on my other post 'thinking of becoming a jw' people mentioned that once i was baptised i would be told / given rules of what i can / cant do, things like: how i act, dress, how i can have sex with my husband??

what i can and cant eat ( according to some research ive done).

i would be really interested to hear as many of these rules now - as i think its too late after one is baptised.. i would be grateful of as many as possible about anything any topic even thouse i havent mentioned.. thanks x.

Most important thing to know about baptism. Once you are baptized, if you break any rules, you may be disfellowshipped.

On the road to becoming a crazy cat person

ok, now that my household has been over-run by two kittens.

two kittens that have me running to the pet shop almost daily, i'm becoming a crazy cat person.

be prepared for a plethora of cat links.

I should clarify that I loved my kitties and have zillions of pictures of the little rascals. I just found it way too taxing to be a cat lady and don't want to go back there anytime soon!

On the road to becoming a crazy cat person

I went through that for the past two years. Started when my daughter's cat had 5 babies and my daughter left them on my doorstep. Then one of them "accidentally" got pregnant (by her sibling, no less) and we ended up with another 5 babies. Then another daughter moved in, bringing her two cats.

I was ready to go insane, especially when one of the two cats began to have all kinds of health problems (we think related to when he was fixed). He could not control his bladder, peed everywhere and would have seizures and attack and claw you while you were asleep. My daughter had to have him euthanized.

We finally managed to find homes for all the kittens. I was going to keep one kitten from the original group because she had adopted me and become "my" cat. Then she somehow got out of the house and disappeared during a freak snowstorm. The last cat standing was one of my daughter's two, and she moved out last week, taking the cat with her.

This morning I was thinking how nice it is to be cat-free, finally!

but any comments on any of the versions or stories you have, thoughts you have on this masterpiece by andrew lloyd webber would be cool.. first question: ian gillan, the original jesus, of deep purple fame on the soundtrack from 1970?.

or ted neely, a texas rocker who did the role of jesus in the movie?.

FHN - I never got to see it on the big screen version. When it came through my city I was still a dub slave and we were not allowed to go see the movie. I just got to listen to other people rave about what an amazing movie it was.

my dad heard from the co who heard from a do that heard from his brother-in-law that heard from the friend of a governing body's wife, that the gb is getting very concerned that "the friends" are losing sight of the nearness of the panda-petting paradise.

many of these friends are also looking too critically at the "spiritual food" provided by the "faithful slave class.".

don't tell anyone else, but i hear that the gb has begun testing something new on some of the sheeple.
