  Who is the Alpha & Omega?

  In the gospel take, Jesus is purported to be the "Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end," but these very same thoughts were plagiarized from older sources, including the Goddess Isis, in whose temple at Sais, Eygpt, it was carved, "I am all that has been, that is, and that will be." As the writer Walker says, "Alpha and Omega, the first and the last letters of the alphabet, were frequently applied to the Goddess who united in birth and death. (Barbara Walker, The Woman's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets, pg 195).

  Is the bible writings borrowed from other ancient writing of other non Jewish origin? It is worth investigating folks.

  Have read Greg's books, very intelligent man. As to what to go to when you find that the WTBTS is not God's anointed organization?

  I think one should take it slowly and find their way. The doors are open and investigation into mankinds real orgins are to be explored. I read the Genesis of the Grail Kings by Laurence Gardner concerning the bible, it was very interesting.

  Have any of you read the book "The Christ Conspiracy", it is very interesting. Perhaps Jesus Christ never existed, but is borrowed personality from other cultures like Buddha? Check it out.

  Why is the Bible wrong?

  this week i got into two interesting conversations that i will admit that i was ill prepared for.

  one was with a jw friend of mine who wanted to know why i thought jw's were wrong.

  Up until I began to investigate the bible it self, and how dependable it is I believed in it. Now I realize that we knew very little about the bible before we bought into it. Hope this is helpful.

  joe anderson thought you'd like to know what caused him to be invited to attend a judicial hearing held in his honor.

  fyi, joe sent a copy of his resignation letter to two governing body members, dan sydlik and jack barr, men who joe and barbara were quite friendly with.

  he thought that since so much time had passed since barbara's appeal letter was given to the local elders and nothing was happening to bill bowen or barbara, that maybe these gb members were holding things up because of receiving his letter and giving more thought to the whole issue.

  Surgery for your child and the blood issue

  monday morning my 14 y/o son was having severe abdominal pain in the lower right abdomen...diagnosis....appendicitis.

  needless to say an emergency appendectomy was performed.

  all went very well as they did the procedure laparoscopicly and therefore he went home in 24 hours and is recovering nicely.. my question/thought to others is this: i was df'd 2 years ago.

  all went very well as they did the procedure laparoscopicly and therefore he went home in 24 hours and is recovering nicely.. my question/thought to others is this: i was df'd 2 years ago.

  Hi Folks,

  Your kindness and warm hugs brought me to tears, and its hard to type when one is crying. I haven't cried in a few months so maybe it is all bottled up. I can't even begin to explain how it feels to lose a child to death. It makes you want to die with them. It brings a terrible physical pain that is unbearable to an end. I wanted to die so badly just to stop the pain. But because of my other beloved two sons, and the love of my beloved whom I am with now, the pain eased. I miss my son terribly, and thinking about him is painful, and probably will always be. But he was bright and funny, and he loved life. He was the son most like his mom in looks and disposition.

  How was it my then my husband and father of my son refused blood for our son so easily unreservedly. Even I was at that moment was uncertain it was the right decision to refuse it, and never said a word. How I wished I had said yes give him blood. I feel revolted by my fear of my husband and the WTS, that I said nothing, when everything in me said to just give him blood that he might live. May God forgive me, and help me live with this. I hold the WTS governing body responsible for his death, and all the other people who die prematurely for refusing blood. They will pay, and are paying some now with so many exiting the witnesses now, like me and all of you hear. I have been really aware and out completely about 9 months. It makes me want to vomit at how utterly blinded I was by the doublespeak of the WTS. But we must not dwell on our mistakes, but put up fight for what is right, for freedom, for life, real life. That is my goal now to get my remaining two sons out. One is, and one wants out as soon as he is 18. He is 14 and lives with his witness father. But I am confident that they will find freedom inthe up coming years entirely.

  MY SON DIED!!!!!! DON'T REFUSE LIFE SAVING BLOOD BECAUSE OF THE WTS!!!!

  He was only 15, share the story with your childs father too. I still feel my son would at least be alive if he had recieved blood at the very beginning at the hospital when he was bleeding so badly.

  This topic is one I had wondered about since seeing it refered to in other places. I appreciate all the information you all posted.

  I only knew of one bethelite who left, and left unhappy with the life up there. His name was Terry Camp, and I know he has been inactive ever sense. Any chance that any of you all know Terry. I know he moved to Virginia and married a worldly gal after leaving Bethel. Haven't seen or talked to him in so many years, except at his witness aunts funeral in Seagrove. He was a really nice guy.

  Thanks for showing us those cool picture. Boy I want to go on a cruise now. We have been talking about it, and hope we can in a couple of years. It looks like a cool place to visit, Alaska is the outdoorsmens dream.
